Don't forget the Hunter the Cheetah Archer spinoff!

Man, when we heard rumors that Spyro would get a show and Hunter too, no one believed it. Now we know it was real all along and we didn't know for years.

I kind of do because Loonatics Unleashed was surreal in the first few episodes(then it got too jokey and calm). A show that's unabashedly kid-level edgy but not pretentious sounds like a good time, even if we'd have another wave of hating Spyro's design.

Honestly I'm somewhat happy this was scrapped because Spyro's heroic stance reminds me too much of a robotic gorilla, lol.

theres a point when are cartoon becomes to edgy that it becomes comical. i think that would have been spyro revolution.

^ Isn’t that just LoS in general? :D Maybe that was just me. I could never take the series as a whole as seriously as it takes itself. A cartoon could have ramped that up or just been more of the same.

I do wonder what Cynder was going to look like and if we’d see older franchise characters like Elora in these shows.

Krome LoS got into the comical side, DOTD not so much. Krome LoS in general had a feeling of Jak and Daxter in general, even if it fell flat a lot.

This was made around 2008 and before DOTD, but notice Hunter doesn't have the metal arm from his Krome design. I think these were made with both parties not really exchanging ideas unlike Skylanders Academy, they just got the order of 'grown up Spyro' from Vivendi and did separate themes.

The Spyro one actually looks horrific.

The Hunter one looks like it could work, because no children at that time would associate it with Spyro. It would be likely viewed as a standalone.
