A hamster that I really loved and considered family passed away.
They didnt even give her a proper burial, they just thew her away in the trash.

that is sad...hamsters are one of the most abused animals ever. most people dont know how to properly take care of them. they just shove them in a plastic cage with nothing that they need to thrive. and once it dies they just get a new one in its place. throwing it in the trash is so disrespectful tbh i would never do that. im sorry smilie

Sorry for your loss. No matter how big or small, I would never just throw away a dead pet. I see them as part of the family, so I would bury or cremate them when they die. When our hamster died when I was a kid, we put her in a shoe box and my mum buried her in the garden.
