A question on Minis.

Hello, i found a good deal on a new starter pack of this game and i'm considering buying it, i have a question on minis: some time ago i read something about them being necessary to enter some areas (like the side scrolling ones for example) in the hub castle, is this right or i can skip them (the minis)?

There's one area in the Academy that requires a mini. It has treasure and a trinket in it, so if you care about getting all the trinkets, you'll need one. If you don't, then you don't need it. I don't think the trinkets contribute to your percentage.

You can also bypass the Mini requirement with Threatpack(so the water trap that comes with the game), I believe? Not sure if that's true on all versions.
