k so there's this show i remember watching as a kid that i had a dvd for but i can't remember what it was called

I think it was a tv series, but i might have been a movie idk. What i remember is that it was a cartoon and in what i remember, there was this purple liquid/water stuff going around town and turning people into mutants/monsters and this group of i think like young adults had to go and find out how to stop it before the city resevoir was contaminated. They infected one of their own to make an antidote for it by dunking him into a tub of ice and water. They then put the antidote into donuts and shot them from a tank into the streets to cute people. I think they ended up going into the sewers that were infested with monsters and plants and stuff and had to like, kill a pod? or something.

can you remember the year or a year-range you saw it?

how old did the cartoon look to you? what decade roughly?

what network did it air on? can you remember any of the commercials? or did you mean it was all on a dvd?

could you compare the look of it in your head to any other cartoon that you know of?

can't remember

The mutants were kinda lizard/dinosaur like I think for the most part, but the other guy was like some tentacle abomination
I think the first person turned when they drank from a water fountain which I always found stupid cuz the water was obviously purple/pink so why the hell would he drink it
