Dokter was in love with the Wood Elf druid, who was a member of Dokter's team. She wanted to preserve his body so that he might be resurrected.

When the captain refused to change course to a city with temples, she dueled him for captaincy and won

However, they were involved in another naval battle, and most of the ship was destroyed - including Dokter's body."
