Wasn't the third one about the Shrek babies? I never saw it, but I can't imagine how that premise could result in anything good.

The fourth one was okay. But the premise felt more like a random filler episode from a TV show than a main installment in a big budget movie franchise.

Since when are all the Shrek films bad? Before the Shrek meme, I remember the first two being pretty well loved, but afterwards, the meme tarnished the series' reputation.

Third one was being more about parent anxiety, I don't think the babies get into the picture until the ending. I prefer it to the fourth movie, the stuff with Arthur was pretty pointless at the start, but the latter half really picks up on how darker everything gets and it really feels like an ending. Which, of course, is why the fourth one needed to introduce an issue that was never there.

The last two Shreks weren't needed at all. I mean, they are a goldmine of memes, but movie-wise, they are nothing compared to the first two.

Shrek 2 is honestly still one of my favorite movies.

Actually the third one was Shrek having to find King Arthur to take his spot on the throne, while having to deal with the fact he's gonna be a daddy.

God don't remind me. I fought with my parents to rent it as soon as it was out in DVD and gladly used paper glasses. Didn't see **** and had to pretend I loved it so they wouldn't be upset.
