You are home, by yourself. Suddenly, you get an alert for a bomb being dropped right over your hometown. You don't have a nearby bomb shelter, and you know you won't survive this. You have a phone with you, and it has enough charge and data to talk to someone.

Who would you call?

Probably my parents, and specifically my mom because the list of people who'd understand me while blubbering and freaking out is quite small.

If a bomb was about to kill me, I would call my mom. Why? Because everyone with common decency, even a bomb, knows to NEVER interrupt someone when they are on the phone with their mom.

Dial a random person and start babbling about the apocalypse. They'll never know what the heck is going on! When news of the bomb reaches the mainstream media, then maybe they'll put two and two together that they would be the last person to hear from someone from that town, and there will be a ton of questions that will never be answered. The random phone call will go down in history as one of those weird unsolved mysteries. Why did I call this person in particular? Did I know the future? Was it a warning? Was it a conspiracy- was I actually the one to drop the bomb on my own hometown?

...I mean, the sane answer would probably be to call a family member or close friend. Yeah, that. *cough*
