Guys the Oscars are a ****ing joke to animation and these days films in general.

Honestly I care a lot more for the Annies because those have people that know what they are voting for and is more orientated to animated films. Hell even animation companies look a lot more forward to Annies than they do Oscars.

But not too complex for their toddlers, even if it's Pixar. Animated movies are just so you can recommend to a small kid amirite

The main reason the Oscar's are so weird towards animation, is because the people who choose the nominees don't actually see most animated movies. They just see whatever with their kids and nominate that. They don't really care about animation at all.
