Is it a fake?

Today I got a stone Whirlwind in a triple pack. If I put variants on my portal for the Nintendo 3Ds everytime it shows that it is a "special" skylander except it is a variant from spyro´s adventure. But for stone whirlwind it is shown as a normal skylander without "special". Is that normal? Please help

Stone Whirlwind is real, but it's odd that it doesn't have a Special tag. Might want to double check with someone that also has Stone variants, but it might be fake if theirs show it.

Both starts at level 5 and with 2100 coins. Can anyone say if it is the sama at other stone variants`?

That's the stats for any variant, but the lack of a Special tag still makes it possible to be an edited chip.

the support of activision talks about a synch error... they want me to reset the figure... but I do not want it because then maybe there is also not a speciaö tag and also the level 5 and 2100 coins are not there anymore!

I mean, it's pretty easy to get back to that point, just choose any of the games to farm XP and gold in. I'd record a video of the figure as is first, though, just in case, to prove that it does have one of the variant features.

I think it might be that some just ~don't~ have the tag, yet they're still official (for example, none of the SSA figures had the "Special" tag, so it could be that depending on when they decided to add the identifier, some of the Giants figures managed to "slip through")
For example, this topic here - //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=126662 - talks about some people getting ones with the tag, and some without.

Wow you are great smilie Thank you for your answers and the link! It really helps that it is a known problem that some have this others not... The shop where I got mine get the figures from Activision... So i did not really expect that it is a fake but I was surprised... And now it feels better to me smilie yesterdayv I asked some people on ebay who sell stone whirlwind.. one showed me a pic with special-tag the other person shows me that it is the same situation like I have.
So, I´m lucky that I got one and that I found this forum smilie
