Since there will more Spyro games in the future set after DotD, along with the movie, I was wondering which developers will be doing them: Krome Studios or Estranges Libellules again? No one knows yet, but I'm stuck between Krome Studios and EL.

If Krome Studios made the next Spyro games again, Spyro, Sparx, and Cynder would look young again(which means no plotholes on how they grew within the crystal during three years) and Cynder will probably have her iron jewelry still on from DotD and everyone else will look the same as they were in ANB and TEN.

If Estranges Libellules made the next Spyro games, then Spyro and Cynder will remain looking like teens and everything else will look beautiful and fancy like they did with DotD.

So that is the name of the company that Crapped LOS more

ELB have made some of the best games in existence but unfortunately they made a big turd out of Dawn of the Dragon.

Insomniac, Eurocom, Amaze, please help and get poor Spyro out of this LOS hole.

Are you forgetting the upcoming movie, which is meant to be the first of a trilogy? So Spyro is still stuck in this hole, it's a joke, it isn't Spyro anymore. It's just a generic dragon fantasy story, slap the well-known Spyro name on it and in comes the money.
I want them to make REAL games again. Spyro used to be fun, pleasing and unique. Now it's the complete opposite.

I think Krome did better, there were FAR LESS glitches and problems in the first 2 tLoS games than there were in DotD.

Option C: Neither of the two please. Switch back to Eurocom if you have to, or just find some other relatively GOOD American developer...

...but mark my words if ELB is chosen again I will burn the currently non-existent Spyro game, after quickly running through it, with a blow-torch! And I'm serious about that....

I dunno about you guys, but what would happen if Krome and Entranges Libulles are BOTH chosen to do the next Spyro game?

I think a new company should design it. Although, I loved the graphics that Estrange Libellules had.

i want levle 5 but that wont happen but they would make the game ledgenary i can tell you that but i prefer the EL one Krome had a good cinamaric graphics but they were sloppy with the ingame onces ans TANGO insomniac will never forget spyro spyro got them where they are today

And the trilogy is just based of ANB, TEN, and DotD. And, None, they both suck. Insomniac was the money maker. Dingodile555, I agree.

Insomniac's still a money maker. They're performing better making games for ONE SINGLE CONSOLE (which is also in third place in the Next-Gen wars) than Sierra is making games for... lesse, uh... 4 CONSOLES AT A TIME. That really says something. <.<

I liked the DotD graphics better. It felt more like the classic adventure games sierra had. I compared it to Kings Quest V. But don't get me wrong, TEN was done very well too.

Oh! I've got an idea! Activision can throw Spyro into the hands of one of its well known, and DECENT development studios! :D

They already confirmed that they're going to make more Spyro games in the future along with the movie. You don't know if there would not be anymore Spyro games related to the LoS series. Do you have any proof on your statement? No, I didn't think so.

I don't know... But I know they made A Hero's Tail, which is the best game in this series IMO. They put an assload of effort into all of their games (that I've played anyway) and I would be thankful if they made a sequel to Shadow Legacy (which was the sequel to AHT).

Well, the Krome Studios version of Spyro almost had the feel of the original Spyro to it. I like EL too, but it's kinda hard to choose which developer I would like to make the next Spyro game.

I'd prefer Krome since I think ANB and TEN (well, ANB anyway) were better than DOTD.

If Activision allows Krome Studios to make the next Spyro game, then we're fine. But if they want EL to make the next Spyro game, then it's probably good-bye Krome Studios.

Don't you mean good riddens Krome Studios?

Krome Studios and EL were great developers for the new Spyro. They both did a fantastic job in my opinion, and Krome did have the familiarity of the original Spyro to it you know. And some of us will probably miss its style for Spyro.

Not me. I thought they both did a sloppy job with Spyro, made the games way too tedious, boring and un-Spyroish.

Both are great, a giant leap from the old series which I wanted after I beat YotD.

They both had their unfortunate faults... mostly due to time constraints in my opinion. If they released the Legend games 2 YEARS APART, who knows how much better they could've been?

Id say EL is better. KROME was still really good.

Just because EA is a greedy MF'er as much as Sqaure Enix, Microsoft, Sony, and even good ol' Nintendo and Activison. Why do you think really good companies like Rare, Maxis, and Sierra got swallowed up by said mega giants?

But, then there are the indie and hobbyist developers... All working on their computers as we speak.

I say consoles get dumped in 2020 for favor of the computer by the way you are all talking.

What....of course for money. Most developers are just as greedy as the publishers. Microsoft didn't force Rare to join, they offered a large sum of money and Rare took it. Besides more money, better technology

Yeah that's true; but I guess I'm just one of those wacko ones who doesn't have a money-driven mind as opposed to just making something good and nearly giving it away.
