If they did exist wouldn't they live in Japan and speak Japanese and almost certainly never meet you or interact with you in any way?

Good point. I need to think ahead.

I will learn Japanese right away, then build a flying tank so I can go over there immediately in the rare event that God smiles upon me and makes Girls und Panzer suddenly exist.
