Sonic has personality. But its a game series i enjoy, its fun it adds something to that, Sonic Heroes which i did a review of. Tell me, besides high school and porn. What does 90% of other anime offer other than what i already know? Generic non cool girls who don't wear jeans or actual clothes that are cool. Thats not personality, thats recycling.

Twerking is not a joke. It - as well as the rest of the pop lifestyle - has become a religion for the normie masses, a pagan way of life for the nonbelievers who do not realize the superiority of anime.

And Sonic? Yes, I will admit that Sonic acts as a good entry into the otaku lifestyle - a quick search on Deviantart will reveal this, with enough fanart that blurs the lines between regular artstyle and anime. It is only a matter of time before they completely forego the normie lifestyle and accept anime as their lord and saviour.

As for what anime has brought to the table, that should be obvious by now. Complex and interesting storylines, amazing artstyles, and most importantly, beautiful girls...

Just try watching any anime, in full. Then you will become enlightened, and realize this higher form of life that I have ascended into.
