I got a detention on one of my last days of school for drawing dicks an the basketball court. Dunno why the headmaster got so pissed, dicks are good.

Seriously though, I've probably got into trouble for several silly reasons before, eventually I just stopped caring because everyone at that school did a pretty ****ty job anyway. In the end, even the biology teacher left - preventing most of us from getting our biology GCSE because none of the other teachers knew anything about it - because the headmaster was cheating on her.

I'm on the biology teacher's side on that one, and I think we all were. The headmaster was a stuck-up asshole, luckily he was fired after everyone found out about him cheating.

Then there was the kid who got away with literally everything, even after he nearly stabbed another kid with a pitchfork. God knows why anyone even gave him (or anyone else) one in the first place, they were all bat**** crazy.

I've got some relatively fun stories to tell about some of the stuff that went on. Sadly, my school was like a stereotypical Hollywood movie - good comedy idea in concept, horrible in execution. Could of been so much better (or worse, depending on your perspective).

Got more chaotic near the end though, that was when everyone started realizing that everything was turning to ****. I imagine it's a total chaos zone right now, if it hasn't already been shut down - apparently some officials started visiting there, and the results weren't too good.

In 6th grade before gym starts you're supposed to sit in rows and wait for the coach to appear
When I let people walk over me, there was this kid who always threatened to stab me with pencils and stuff to get me to do what he wants and so one time before gym when we were the first ones in the gym i didn't want to be stabbed so i kinda just ran around the gym from him to then the coach walked in, who is a hardass and asshole btw, and yelled at us both and sent us to the principal's office
i cried lol

For asking why i was being singled out.

I walked into a Maths lesson, sat down and was told to leave.

When i asked for a reason, i was told that he was the teacher and didn't have to give a reason.

I later found out it was because i didn't pick up my chair properly when sitting down and pulling it under the desk :/

If you think i'm odd, my teachers were in a league of their own.

That's got to be one of the oddest reasons.

Did they try and force feed kids?

One of my teachers got insanely mad at me because I was using a notebook where you turn the pages at the top instead of a normal notebook with a spiral in between the pages. And another one of my teachers is pissed at me because I don't organize my papers according to her insanely specific instructions. I'm supposed to put the date at the top of the page, then have a line over the worksheet with a title for it, even on things that already have dates and titles on them. But since we never need these pages again it doesn't ****ing matter at all what I do with them.

Back when I was 13 I was sitting in class with my friend, about 10 minutes into lesson everyone started misbehaving so the head of behaviour came in. He gave a long speech about why behaviour is important and then he said "when I see your faces my radar gets bigger... sorry, goes off" meaning that he will recognise us. Hmm... that was a poor choice of words, being a 13 year old of course I was going to interpret that in a dirty way and I tried not to laugh but I couldn't help it, I turn to my friend and he's also trying not to laugh and soon enough we're just crying of laughter. He sent us out of the class room to have a "discussion" with us, my friend immediately apologised and got sent back into the class and given a warning so I then apologise, the teacher then shouted "No, it's too late now! Give me your name, I expect to see you for a detention tonight" so I gave him a false name and was let back into class.

Went to gym class in 7th grade, had to wear special gym clothes otherwise couldn't participate and got in trouble for not having the uniform. Well, someone stole my uniform out of my locker, was later kinda proven to the principal this was happening. Well.... until parents got involved and fought it, I got a few detentions for not having my gym clothes because they were stolen. Guys stealing said clothes were never caught as far as I know, but I got the detentions.

In 1st grade, I had finished working on a project, and two other kids asked me for help. Me being about 6 or7, I decided between the two of them by doing eenie-meenie-minee-moe. When I did it, I included the bit that said, "my mother told me to choose the very best and you are it!" Well, the kid I didn't choose got upset that I didn't call him "the very best," so he started crying. The teacher pulled me out into the hallway and made me apologize.

In 3rd grade, my teacher (who was an absolute jerk, everyone else who had her agrees), threatened to call my parents because I repeated a silly noise that the people next to me made. They didn't get in trouble at all.

So we were doing a group project in a class (in groups of 3 or 4) and we all split up our work evenly. You know, like normal people would. So we got the work done, but the day we had to present our project, some of the others were gone. Since each of us had our own parts, our homework was technically “not done” so the teacher gave us all these things which basically if you get 3 of them you get detention.

I don’t get into trouble much, but King-Pen’s story reminded me of the time I got in trouble for reading a book...in reading class. Granted, I was supposed to be paying attention and not reading at that moment, but it’s still funny to me.

Shadme's story reminded me of the time I got in trouble for reading a book during class. Not that bad, I should have been paying attention. I got a detention, also not that bad since I was a constant repeat offender.

The bad part?

Detention was in the library.

Ugh. Where do I even start? Granted, most of the stuff I got in trouble for was before we figured out I have Asperger’s, but even then, I fail to see how a good chunk of that stuff could justifiably be considered “my fault”. Things did cool down after that revelation, but even after that I still got in trouble for some really ****ing stupid reasons. And the crowning moment of these stupid punishments was the entirety of my fourth grade career. Sure, my teacher repeatedly insisted that she “liked” me and that I was one of her “favorite” students, but unless she was a real life tsundere, I simply refuse to believe any of that.
I just used the word “tsundere” unironically, somebody please just kill me now.

Seriously, if I made the slightest disturbance in her class, I’d get punished for it. I wasn’t even really trying to be disruptive most of the time either, and most of the stuff I got in trouble for she’d turn a blind eye to had literally anyone else done it. I guess it would kind of make sense, since she was pregnant for most of the year, so maybe it was just the hormones, but that’s still no excuse to be a colossal *****. I could go on for hours, but I’ll just stick with one consistent example.
She was very adamant about students writing in cursive. Any time I had the audacity to write something in print, she’d make me go back and do it in cursive. I swear, I think I spent more time rewriting stuff in cursive than I did doing anything actually productive. Even better, she rarely wrote in cursive herself. She always swore up and down that “we’d need to write in cursive, or else other teachers wouldn’t accept our work.” Come next year, within the first week, someone asked our 5th grade teacher if we had to write in cursive. His response?

“I don’t care. As long as I can read your handwriting.”

And besides signing stuff, I’ve never used cursive a single time since.

My dad yelled at me for no reason

The reason he said was that I was angry at a game

I wasn't mad at said game, I was just saying it was BS because I was killed through a wall

When I asked him why he was yelling at me, he just yelled at me more

Seriously dad?
