Only here for 2 sections these days, video games and Stuff&Nonsense

What started as me coming here for skylander news and discussions, is now just me talking about games besides Skylanders and Spyro and just chatting on whatever in Stuffs&Nonsense

I can't really fault the site or its users for anything bad I can say about it. It's nice and accessible, and the folks here provide fun enough discussion. My only problem would be if that if I ever miss a few days of talking, that's it, anything going on in a general discussion or a popular thread is hard to recoup on and get involved in again.

If we had any reason at all to speculate about Spyro's future, anything besides "wait and see" I reckon discussion would shoot up. Even if it's just something like First4Figures' light-up monument, that got people wondering if the purple dragon was gonna make it back on our TV screens (on here as well as YouTube). Alas, until some old secrets have been unearthed or new information is uncovered, we're pretty much stuck in General Discussion limbo, which is all the worse for new members eager to talk about stuff that's at least new to us.

I have to say it's one of the most pleasant forums to be on. I tend to quit game forums once they're out of Early Access as I've done my part, and drift onto something else where I can feel I'm part of something. Here it's just good ol' fun.

It's really weird when I think about it. There's nothing that's really keeping me here, yet I'm on almost all the time (I lurk, like, a lot). I've met some of my best friends here too, its kind of surreal when I look back on it. I joined all those years ago just to talk and speculate about S:G, never thought I'd still be here so many years later.

Should be quite obvious by now that I hate this place, and that many users have also hated me at some point. I just don't fit in here.

So yeah, I do hate this place. I only come back because I'm bored and can't access better websites because the 2DS browser is ****.

Except Miiverse. I could acces that, which was IMO much better, but now that's getting shut down and my ****ty 2DS browser can't access any of its' fanmade replacements either.

The roleplaying community here has died, I pretty much am only here for forum games, S&N and video game discussions now.

A very strange, nostalgic site. Though the “strange” part refers to the userbase (in a good way).
Anything else I could say about the site refers less to the literal website and more towards the userbase and my experiences.
So, it’s just strange and nostalgic. Reminds me of good times and my childhood.

I'm literally just here for no reason, occasionally appearing to make some dumb post then leaving for a few days.

a few people i recognized in the past are long gone, while few are still here, but its not like i was ever friends with any of them so....

I get bursts of nostalgia when I'm here.

my only problem is everyone complaining about the forum dying. yeah that's gonna happen. it isn't pre-2012 anymore. it's sad and it sucks that most the cool og users left (spyrobaro, brightscales, joerox, jennacat, spyrartisan, etc) but complaining all the time is gonna make it an even darker haven. peace and chillbeans my dudes

If you don't like the forum, or some of the people, don't come.

honestly this is the first and only forum where I became more than just another user. people on this site are just more personal than let's say smashboards where I l can't name more than 1 person at the top of my head there. Plus I found some pretty cool peeps on this site that I talk to daily. I do find it weird however that I can get sad about people who I'll never see in real life leave the forum. The thing about this site is that the admin doesn't really care about the users but users care about the other users which is both a blessing and a curse. If you have over 1000 gems than it is very likely that you have a reputation of some kind and that fact is amazing. My name is somePerson here but on other forums im just some person.

if you're a guy who says that this site is toxic and has a negative effect on you then im sorry sweety but the real world will be absolute hell because this site develops great relationships unique to it. However there are some bad apples who need to grow up and learn how to communicate because im tired of the trend of people leaving and pretending that this site was never accessed in their life. Don't be ashamed of fun times, be ashamed of how you can't get those times back because of your decisions.
