Don't get me wrong, samurai were cool and all, but maybe it's good that Saigo was defeated? I mean, if he weren't, then maybe we wouldn't have cute anime girls now? Like, can you imagine a group of samurai trying to get the right shade of blue when drawing Hatsune Miku's hair?

I gotta admit, that 40 samurai downhill charge probably looked kinda cool, but nothing beats the Winged Hussars when it comes to decimating the foes in a swift downhill charge.

Yeah, I'd rather stick with Megurine Luka than have some guys waving swords about, swords are dangerous anyways. Megurine Luka is cute.

Maybe it's better this way TBH.

I'm really not sure, honestly, 'cause I don't think anime would exist if Saigo won. It's kinda like I said, I just can't see samurai drawing cute girls. It's weird. I mean, they're trained warriors. They wouldn't want to be drawing anime girls, right?

So now, I'm just wondering, is anime really better than samurai? I think it is but I'm really not sure, like samurai are really cool but Megurine Luka is cute, so I don't know.

Well you need to think that unless there were Samurai there would be no Anime to base them on.

So each has its own merits.
