Since Insomniac, Spyro has been changing companys after almost every game... So what if, by some slim chance, Spyro got sold to a big time game company like Square Enix? This probably won't happen but what if it did?

Spyro would probably have decent games if that happened, but I doubt it will. Sonic has been developed mainly by SonicTeam since he debuted (at least all of the main series games) and has had great games throughout the time for the most part (most of us who are Sonic fans tend to like most of the games, from what I see).

I also believe Mario has been made by only one developer, since he's still flying off the shelves like he's got some rockets stuck in his butt. XD

You know, these days that kind of thing might work. @_@

Then Spyro would be Teen, and it would be classified as a role-playing game.

Alright? Shall I be specific? All the Spyro characters will gain WICKED hairstyles, the villains will actually be awesome, and not cheap, lame characters, the story will be very intense, Sephiroth will make a cameo appearance *trampled by fanboy mob*, Becky & Gabe will be kicked out as the composers and probably replaced by either Yoko Shimomura, Nobuo Uematsu, or Masashi Hamauzu, thus giving the game good music. >_>

Ironically, Back in the early 90's, Square Enix (Squaresoft at the time) made a Mario RPG, under the supervision of Nintendo, of course.

Overall, I can see SE making a pretty good game out of Spyro. 'Course, I'm a JRPG fan, so that style would appeal to me, younger Spyro players might not like it as much. And most of the people who hate the Legend series DEFINITELY would hate that type of Spyro gameplay.

On a downside (for some), though, if SE did make Spyro, it'd probably go onto only one console/system, since SE hardly ever makes a game for multiple platforms. Meaning that Spyro would either go to PS3, PSP, DS, or Wii only (since SE really hasn't done much with the 360, except announce FF13 for PS3 AND 360 ) I could easily see Spyro being Wii/DS only, since the games tend to appeal to 9-12 year olds more as they are now, and most kids that age tend to have Nintendo systems.

Dragon's don't have hair, giving them hair would RUIN everything.

I imagine Activision will have a hand in the next game in some way.

We might start seeing stuff like that. With the economy like it is, alot of video game companies might have to join others just to stay alive. The avarge Dollar worth is about 45 cents, they say by next year(due to all the money that's being printed and no gold to back it) it will be worth 15 cents. So every game we buy or reserve will go up about $8 to $10 bucks! That's very comforting isn't!

If Nintendo owned Spyro...that would mean I'd never play another Spyro game again (I absolutely REFUSE to buy a Wii, the only reason I would EVER get one is if FF7 came out on Wii)

Nah. Sony would be most likely to get exclusive ownership... seeing as they used to have it back in the Insomniac days.

It would be cool for Square Enix to make Spyro, though. But I think right now SE should get back to those delayed games they already promised us, and worry about new games in the future.
