For any who remember I'm in Texas, just posting to say I'm fine. All projections I saw only have it really hitting around the south-eastern fourth of the state. I'm north enough that I'll only probably get some rain.

I'm not remotely close to Texas. I have family there and I wish for them to be good. Haven't spoken to them in years tho. Still good luck and hopefully they know to swim.

In all seriousness, please stay safe

I made the mistake of flying from San Antonio to Houston right before the hurricane hit. Now I'm trapped here in this hotel and I have no idea when I'll get a chance to fly/drive back. Every time I book a flight or a bus, it's cancelled shortly after. My friend offered to come and drive me back, but he wouldn't even be able to get into Houston because all the highways are closed. I'm here for the long-haul smilie

Have some Sonic or Jack in the Box. Had them every time we went to Texas to visit our Grandma. Both are delicious.

Um... hun.... I don't think those are going to be open and would likely be underwater. Houston was in the area that got seriously ****ed by the hurricane.

I love Sonic, but I can't get far from the hotel parking lot without getting into a flooded area. I tried looking into Amtrak to get home but they're closed as well, of course. I've been sitting here for the past hour just trying to think of some other form of transportation that may get me home in time for this weekend. Hoping I don't miss a big convention!

I say "I'm sorry" every second of every day. I love Akame Ga Kill. I'm a teen girl who probably shouldn't be here. I make bad art.

I'm in SE Texas, and I'd like to say I'm okay. Our yard is kind of flooded but we sit up high enough that it (hopefully) shouldn't reach the house, or at least get inside.

To my fellow Texans, be safe.
