Are Gold Rusher's tailpipes supposed to be uneven?

One thing that's always bothered my about my Gold Rusher figure is that the tailpipes on one side are longer than the other, even though they seem to be even in-game.

Is it normal for the figure to have uneven tailpipes? Or do mine have some odd factory defect?
