It has been 1,000 long years.

There was once a simpler time. When a group of righteous heroes stood over this land, and guarded it. Those who dared challenge them were met with quick and merciless action. These guardians, these HEROES... they were gone too soon.

1,000 years ago, a dark force rose from beneath this world. Nobody can remember anything of it.. but what it did will always remain engraved in our minds.

With a fell swoop of it's dark claw, the last remaining portal master- Master Eon- was slain. The heroes attempted to fight the force, but they were overwhelmed by it's power.

Things are not well. The skylands are a lawless wasteland, with horrid abominations running amok. The heroes we once knew are nowhere to be found. Most say they died.. but some believe they are only hiding. Waiting to rise again.

I've been waiting long enough for this day. The stories, the fables.. i know they're true. I have to find the connection. The missing link that can save us... a portal.
