Should I buy premium currency for a game because I like it and want to see it continue, or should I not because then I'm just doing what the company wants?

To support a product it's alright, but it depends on the game. A 70 dollar thing with little "free" content is probably overcharging.

FR? Or Overwatch? smilie
Nah, I'd say do it! If you have money to spare, get legitimate enjoyment out of the game, and want to support it, there's no harm in buying premium stuff on occasion. It's when you get hooked and pretty much start shoving all your money at the game all the time that it can be considered "doing what the company wants."

I'd say it depends on if the game was originally free or not. If you didn't pay for it in the first place then supporting it by buying premium stuff is good, but if you already paid for the game, they don't really need more of your money for something that doesn't add content to the game.

Yeah, companies generally know that people might not pay more than the game itself. You might give some extra support to them, but they're already satisfied with what you gave.
