I liked it not as good as the first the sound track I liked it good song choices that fit perfectly in the scenes they were in and didn't feel like just background noise now character wise the normal five guardians were good but drax stole the show in my opinion now yondu was my favorite in the first and well I just fell in love with him even more ego to me was a good villain I liked bebula better in this one than the first the only weak characters to me was the sovereign I feel like they could have used them more and sadly mantis I was hoping to be a little more than comic relief with drax now with out spoiling the movie my favorite guardian from the comics is coming sadly they won't be in infinity war but here is for guardians three

Punctuation please!

Anyway, I guess since this is a topic I'll just say that I didn't like it much coming out of the theater, but I'm willing to give it another shot. It's a gorgeous film with tons of action that I wrote off because of a few bad jokes

I actually didn't really like it. All the jokes felt too forced for my liking.

Absolutely loved it.
In fact, the more I think about it the more I realize how much I liked it.

Went to see it with a couple friends which didn't like it as much as I did (they are always very critical about almost everything, while I basically gave up trying to be objective), which resulted in a very interesting discussion on the way home.
It was nice to hear different opinions, but in the end I enjoyed every last bit of that movie.

Couldn't stop laughing at any scene with Drax in it. smilie

Don't think I prefer it over the first one, because of how well it fit in the whole MCU and how it started to bring up important pieces to the puzzle, but taken out of context... freaking awesome (except I didn't want to say "freaking" smilie ).

I didn't like it at all. It was way too predictable and most jokes were cringy and overused. The first movie, while isn't one of my favorite movies, at least spread it's jokes apart so not every other sentence had a punchline. This movie felt like it was just one giant comedy.
Spoilers
I'm sure it happened in the comics, blah blah I ****ing groaned when Peter went all "it's my dad and i want to trust himm!!!!@@" to Gamora. It's one of the most annoying cliche laziest plot device I see in movies.
It's the typical thing where they are untrusting and then one person is like "this isn't good I think we should leave" but the other person is like "**** you no I trust them" it's just like Toy Story where they just keep ****ing not trusting Woody even though he has been right every single time. It's annoying that Peter gets all offended that Gamora dare say their is something fishy going on, even when he was skeptical at first and didn't even plan on going.
The Nebula and Gamora reunion was also way too familiar *coughAliceThroughTheLookingGlassandothertryhardsequelscough*
Not a bad thing, but I found it hilarious that everyone was having "I love you" and confession scenes, during Yondu's funeral. Like this dood's ashes are flying through space and you're talking about the unspoken thing between yall.

I did find some of the jokes funny and I laughed at a few parts and I did get my money's worth (even though I watched it at a party so I didn't even pay for the tickets but) but it isn't something I'd ever want to watch again.

Also this isn't a fault of the movie, but the music choices urked me simply because they're the same songs that play on loop at my work that drive me insane.

It was...pretty good, tbh. Alright, I'll admit that I was bothered the f out of myself when there wasn't so many focus locations as the last movie, and that the majority focus planet was on that one planet made by Quil's father, but it was some good visual pr0n.
