Yeah, so I somehow was able to get tickets after, like, 3 years of trying. A few people wanted to see pictures. So I took some poor quality pictures! Apologies for the lag in advance. Also full disclosure this is the first convention I've ever been to so, yeah...

Outside the Boston Convention Center:

Nintendo's booth on the show floor, next to Twitch's. Also ambiance lighting because I dunno. I guess the Switch is romantic? <.<;

They even had fake airplane seats to emphasize the Switch's portability. And I saw at least 2 dozen folks walking around with their own Switches playing Breath of the Wild.

Lots of merchandise (direct from Japan!) that I may or may not have bought in a moment of weakness... >.>

Live streaming with pro commentary is a big thing on the show floor. Twitch was doing it, as were several of the PC gaming booths:

..They had Gordon Freeman crowbars?

That's kind of like selling toy sticks made out of plastic. Unless they were actual, real crowbars, in which case they were just that. Normal crowbars.

Nah, it was an iOS game. OK KO also had an iOS game. Adult Swim Games had a much larger presence though, complete with Rick & Morty: The Virtual Rickality Experience.

Also, more pics to come tomorrow (too late/tired to upload the photos to Dropbox from my phone). I tried out some Switch games (Spla2ne and ARMS), some indie games, Crash Bandicoot N. Tranced, and Sonic Mania (with surprise Aaron Webber outta nowhere). Also met some famous personalities and got some autographs.

More shenanigans ahoy:

So beach balls were a common way to pass time waiting for the expo hall floor to open. And then someone pulled out a whale:

Switch booth. Tried out Spla2ne, ARMS, and Ultra Street Fighter II. I never played Splatoon before, and with all my hours logged on Ratchet & Clank, gyroscope aiming really messed me up. If I get this game I'm probably going Pro Controller.

The PAX Arena. There were several tourneys, including a Smash Invitational which I had to sadly miss. Wanted to see the pros in action.

Surprising find: the limited edition vinyl soundtrack for Ratchet & Clank 2016. I don't own a record player, but I wanted to own official Ratchet merch.

Overall I enjoyed it a ton. If anyone's able to make it next year and wants someone to go with, hit me up, cause I'm definitely going to try to go back.

i cant read all those too well, but whos autographs did you get on it and what did said people do?
