((Ok this is the story about Shadowfang. You maybe have seen her name in some other topics. There is another story before this one actually, but I am doing it as a school-work right now. But once it is finished I will post it as a side story because it is actually more about her mother than herself.))
Edit:
Part 1-The medallions
Shadowfang looked up. She could see that the stars were glowing stronger than normally.
((SF=Shadowfang))
SF: It is close. Soon, the second moon will rise. And that is when they not will need this thing to find me.
She looked down at the scar on her neck. She hated it. Not the scar itself, but the reason for why she had it. Beneath that scar laid a Ksias crystal enchanted with a spell that allowed those who placed it there to track her.
SF: If I only could find those ruins, then I could hide the energy rise I would receive... But I don´t think I will have that luck... If I only would have loooked at that medallion before they came... I wish Bloodmoon was here... She always knows what to do... And... And Shadowmoon... I miss her so much...
She started to get tears in her eyes. Thinking on her sister Bloodmoon, who always knew what to say to make her feel better, and her mom, Shadowmoon, that had found the human named Mhrikandor.
SF: I told Flaming Arrow it was a bad idea. But did he understand it? No! Why is it so unfair! Everyone I know have found a Golden Emerald! I am alone of ot being able to talk in human language.
She looked on a mountain across the plain she were standing on.
SF: Well, I guess it won´t matter... If just... If just this stupid... Water would be quiet... Or whatever it is they are doing... So that I could talk to them... To ask them for advice...
She looked up to the nightsky again.
SF: The time is here. Soon the sun will rise. It is time to move on, before I no longer can draw the rest of the powers I need.
She flied out from the hole she stood in. As she raised, the moonlight seemed to glow on her wings. She was nearly exhausted, but as she flew, the moonlight on her wings grew stronger, and so did her energy. Drawing powers from moonlight, that was the nature of a Dragon of the Double Moon. Getting a chance for coming back as a species only one time every five million years, was another part of their nature. But Shadowfang did not intend to let her kind wait for five million years. She intended to prepare the way. So that in 5000 years, her sister could bring her young out into the night, letting them see the moon only one week after their hatch. Giving them the power to awake the sleeping powers beneath the Volcano of Silence. The power, to bring back the long dead Dragons of the Double Moon. Now, they were only four that were alive and safe. In 5000 years, they would be 10 as her sisters first eggs would hatch. She allowed herself a little smile at this.
SF: All is not yet lost. Now, I shall find those ruins, and await the connection of the moons. Then, it is time to strike! Hard and fast, silent and deadly. With the powers of Blood and the stealth of Night. Our rebirth dras near.
((Please tell me what you think about it))
Edit:
I changed the title because I will write the other stories directly linked to this in this topic as well. With this I mean part 2, part 3 and so on depending on how many parts there will be.

As Shadwfang flew, she could finally see the ruins. They were like nothing she had ever seen before.
SF: It kind of makes sense, actually, that the place I´m looking for is different than I thought it to be when it is in a different world... She came into the ruins at the last moments. Three seconds after she had landed in the middle, the two moons fell together and only the first could be seen. But thanks to the ancient powers in her blood, the ruins could hide her powers. Otherwise, she would be shown to everyone. Now, at least, she had some time. Then she saw something move. SF: You... How many times do I have to tell your kind to stay away! Her eyes began to glow like rubies as she watched the ape that were moving close to her. SF: Very well then. I would normally say that you have forced me, but, to be honest, I hoped you would try. With a smile she opened her powers. Beyond her a cloud of shadow began to grow. The next second, it touched the ape. First it looked as if it saw something it feared, then a wound opened where the cloud touched it. Shadowfang started to smile as the apes life energy were being drawned to her. She had met these fools more than thousand times, but still they didn´t understand they were just as insects to her. She let the cloud spride around, but this time, all of the monkeys who touched it, immediatly saw their greatest fears. SF: The nightmare comes for you! Run, or I will make it come true! The apes ran immediatly. If something, they have learned that she could see the same things the cloud showed to them. And none of them wanted to end up as their comrade had. Shadofang laid down, feeling tired. She could finally sleep without worry for one night. Her smile became a little wider, and the thought of her sister. SF: I will not fail you. I promise. Then, she drew the last of the apes energies, and burned the dead corpse. She would leave no followable marks. If they wanted her, they had to send their best.

Finally empowered, Shadowfang looked up to the sky. Last night, the double moons had met each other, the smaller hiding behind the larger one. She know it had been foolishly to draw more enrgy than the amount she would receive from this event, but she just could not help it. Every time she drew power from something, she felt as if her life was renewed. As if she were allowed to live again a thousand of times.
SF: Why should I worry, when no one else does? She knew that this was different, that she was more important than anyone else, and much more vulnerable, but she still just had to do it. SF: If just this tupid crystal could come out sometime! I would really hate to be found by them when I am weak, especially now. If I only had played my trick a little later, the Thousand star would be disarmed forever. Then I could focus my full attention to remove this thing before they decide to catch me, transform it from Ksias to Ksasas, invoke the Orruption and destroy this world to make sure I won´t find the medallion... She looked up to the sky again. SF: Blood and Night, why is this happening? Please send me strenght and courage enough to complete my task. Then she saw a green flash, and suddenly a green disk appeared in the air. Ir grew bigger and began to spin. SF: May the flame never fall, they found me! Well, if they want a chase, they are going to wish they never heard the word! I just have to avoid them until the night falls again, and then, I will be far away. Then she saw a little insect. SF: Well, maybe I don´t even have to wait that long. She spread out another shadowy cloud, and as it touched the insect, both it and she glowed red. Three seconds later, the cloud disappeared. The only thing left, was an insect that first looked confused, then started to fly away. Away from the green disc, as if something were telling it, that is was a sign of danger.

SF: Why... Do... They have... To find out my way... Before... I... Am done?
Shadowfang growled angrily as she exited the barrier they had set up. Somehow they had predicted her path, and raced ahead of her. And then they had set up their stupid spike blockades. Normally, Blodmoon, her older sister, was the one who easiest got angry of them, but when it was about these barriers, only one hated them more than Shadowfang, and he were long dead. SF: Where are those stupid monkeys or whatever they are when you wish they were here? I feel like tearing something to pieces... She looked back at the barrier. Looking at it angrily for three seconds, she then turned to her right wing. To decrease the damage, she had let it all be taken up by her right side. SF: Now, how much silverleaf do I need this time? As she looked on the wounds in her wing, she as shocked to see that it just was one big hole. SF: By the imprisoned soul, how much can they improve these... Things? First it just was slowing us down, then it had magic preventing us from flying, then it started to pierce our wings, and now, it creates one large hole. Well, at least I´m lucky... Considering I have the ability to create silverleaves, while most others can´t. She looked on the ground and picked up some leaves, enough to bind the hole on both sides of her wing. SF: Luckily, they still forgets to remove the leaves from the spot. Summoning her powers, she breathed fire on the leaves. But instead of burning them, she directed it to the very core of the leaves. Once the leaves were empty shells, she allowed the fire to also burn the outside. Instead of becoming ashes however, the leaves became a sort of silver. Binding her wound with it, Shadowfang could feel their healing powers focusing on her wound. SF: That was much better. One moment later, she heard something in the bushes. As she looked in that direction, she could see what it was. SF: Well, it looks like for once, they arrived when I hoped they would come. Now, my little friends, I am going to teach you a new game. It has something to do with... Teeths, claws and... Very many, small pieces of flesh and blood, that flies off in the wind... Allowing herself a little smile, she walked up to the bush. Maybe, after all, this day could be a little better than she first thought. She would not let any of them escape this time.

SF: Come on now. Where are you?
She thought that she finally had the powers she needed. SF: Come to me, or are you afraid? No one answered. SF: Well then, it looks like you are a coward when you can´t ambush me in dark streets with humans to do your work! Come out now! It is time to pay! You will pay for all you have done to me! I will defeat you this time! You tricked me into destroying a world! You slayed the one I cared for most right before my eyes, when he was to tell me how he felt for me! You left him to die by his wounds! You will beg for a similar death when I am done with you! I will punish you so hard, everyone else who have their lives ruined by you, will even think it is to hard! Come now, or I will drag you out from your hiding! She roared, high enough for everyone within 5000 kilometres to hear as she unleashed a flame that was red and black. Around her, a cloud of shadow was, leaving a trail behind her that lasted for 5 seconds after her passing. Every creature on the ground that saw or heard her instantly ran for cover, because they knew, that she was angry enough to tear open the world itself if she had to.

She felt both of the changes in the energy rifts. In the distance, she felt something ancient and with power to devastate a world. Behind her, she felt the other dragon stop as he came within reach of feeling the other creature.
SF: Gro'Khoa! She turned to the other dragon behind her. SF: I guess this is one of your plans? The green dragon looked at her, eye to eye. Green Dragon: No. I would do something like it if I just had the word of destruction for here. But no, it´s not me. It looks like that if you want to save this world, you have another opponent. SF: You realise that even if I can´t defeat you, I have nothing more to loose. Even if I can´t destroy you myself, I will prevent you from escaping. Green Dragon: I always thought that we would do it this way, fighting each other on a world that was near ruin. Normally it would be I who awaked a Gro'Khoa or invoked the Orruption, but well, I guess this will have to do. SF: Then we are two. I knew it had to happen. It always happens. Every time, when the battle of the bringers occurs, it is on a world that is ruined, or is in great danger. Green Dragon: Well, I can sense that we should hurry if we want to do any fighting at all. This Gro'Khoa will destroy the world somehow by walking a specific path. I think, that we have less than five hours before it reaches its end. SF: What are you waiting for then? Green Dragon: Ladies first. Select the location of our battle, and I will follow you to it. Then they both flew to a nearby mountain.

She realised with terror the misstake she had made. She remembered how her mother always had told her to never fight opponents with this strenght unless she had the advantage of night. She realised she had broken the most important rule of them all by choosing to fight now, while the sun was up. She saw that her opponent knew it. His smile showed it. Realising that she only had two ways of escape, she threw herself against him. She had a better way, but she intended to save it until it was the last second before the crystal had drawn the power she needed for it. So, she had to fight a little, only to find a way to distract him long enough for her to disappear. If only there could come an insect now. Or anything that was either small or fast. But she knew she could come nowhere by wishing. Focused on the defensive, she started the fight.

SF: Why... Does... These... Things... Always... Appear to... Be drawn... To me everytime!
Looking on the wounds in her wing, she thought that it appeared as if someone knew exactly how she was going to move, and then placed up those barricades there. SF: At least it will hold long enough to find a sheltered place... She then folded her wings and went toward a nearby cave. As Shadowfang lay down on the cave floor, she looked again at her wing. SF: I don´t have time for this! I must get away, and what happens? I flies right into those stupid barricades and my wing becomes nearly destroyed. So now I must wait here for it to heal enough to fly with while hoping that I´m not found by anything dangerous... And the thing that is dangerous has a crystal in my neck, that will show him where I am... Looking at the wall, she noticed that there was some difference in depths at some places. When she looked closer, she saw that it was markings made by a dragon claw. SF: These... They looks so familiar... And yet, I have never been here... It... Suddenly, she realised what it was. SF: Spirit Runes! There are Spirit Shrines for Those Without Name here! And I have found the runes for one of them... It is the Shrine of Crystal! Golden Star can come here, if he knew I was in danger... He will come, sooner or later, someone will notice I´m gone... But how long? To long for me to stay here. She clawed a little on the wall under the runes. SF: There. That should work. Now, he can see where I went. At least, no one else can read those. Finally, I´m under the moon... At last, things starts to turn in my help... Then she lay down, carefully putting her wing on some leaves she had gathered earlier. The last thing she thought of before she fell asleep, was that night when she and Golden Star had been together. They sat on a hill looking as the moon raised. She remembered that they have talked, about the future, about if they would live in a city, a cave, a forest or somewhere else. She remembered how a bandit came from behind them, and how Golden Star had protected her. She would never forget it, how he had protected her from harm, how he had surprised the bandit by playing dead. She knew that this time, she would not have to fear loosing anyone. Golden Star was different. She knew that even if he died, he could come back to her. And then, they would sit on a hill, and watch as the moon stood over the sky. A night, long in the future. And all around them, would there be anything they had ever wished. And, she could imagine herself looking back to see how their young were playing with the human Flaming Arrow. She smiled, imagining that one of her young had found out that he could get food by staying close to Flaming Arrow as often as possible and be nice to him. Then, with a smile, knowing that she would once return here in about 5000 years, when all was over, and show her young the things in this world that was worth seeing. Then she slept.

She waked up the next day, feeling that something happened. It was not close to her, but to someone who was close. She could feel pain, but didn´t know where it came from. Then she suddenly felt something other. Then she realised what it was.
SF: No... Tears began to appear in her eyes as she thought of what had just happened. For a short time, she had been able to reach Crystal Eye with her mind, they touched each other as they used to do when they were young, and the next, it had disappeared. Not as if the crystal in her neck had cut the connection, but as if something had happened to Crystal Eye. Shadowfang knew that only one thing would have caused that. Crystal Eye would never break the contact she had with her friends ecept for one reason. If she had died. Shadowfang knew it, and she also knew that it was her fault. Because of her misstake, because she had underestimated their opponents, because she had allowed them to capture her in the streets and place the crystal in her neck, Crystal Eye now was dead. She was more than just her friend. Crystal Eye had saved her life many times before. She also knew that lately Crystal Eye had began to find other friends. She had hoped to one day meet her again. To see new friends to play with. But now it was gone. A dragon who had saved her life, a dragon who was her friend, a dragon who had told her that she knew the location of a ring that was connected to the medallions. But, what the tears were coming from fastest, was that because of her, because of her misstake, there now was five young dragons that never again would see their mother. It was to much for her. She cried out. It was a surrendering, a challenge, everything. She surrendered to the powers she couldn´t control, and she challenged those who were at the same level as her. As her tears began to touch thew ground, she had already decided to wait one more day. If they found her, then it would be how she punished herself. If they didn´t, then she would not stop until she had avenged Crystal Eyes death. She knew exactly who it was that had cut her neck. SF: I promise you this... Whenever I find you next time, you won´t survive! Even if it means I must kill myself, I will make sure you dies! Whenever it may be, or how, or where, I won´t rest until you are dead! Not even the closing end can stop me! Before my time comes, I will know that you have suffered at least as much as you made me suffer! I maybe not know how Golden Star did, but I promise, to you, to me, to everyone, that once I find you, you will wish that it was he you were fighting instead. Twice you have tricked and ambushed me, but now, I will be the hunter. All the time I fought I hunted you, you were setting up traps. Well, if you want to play games, then I will teach you a new. My kind usually calls it "Why the combination of Blood and Night is more deadly than anything". I promise you, once I find you, you will wish that you never heard about me... Then she lay down, thinking only about how she would find the green dragon, defeat him, hold him down to the ground and make him suffer. An infinite amount of pain, over an eternity, and then, he would die. She could imagine how it was, holding the last of his life between her claws, the last of the life that had cause her so much suffering, and to so many others as well, and then, to just press. And put it out forever. That was the last thing she thought on as she fell asleep.

SF: You know that I only will let you live as long as you do exactly as I say!
She looked at the Khra'Zax standing before her as it slowly nodded. SF: Very well then Zrooz. As long as you don´t siappoint me, I will spare your life. But remember, you betrayed me once, and I will not tolerate it again! Zrooz slowly nodded once more. Shadowfang thought of how different the Khra'Zax where from other creatures. They looked like dragons, except that they had no wings, and their eyes were made of pure red flames. Also, their scales where fading and appearing in different colors. Zrooz: I did not know where I would best put my bets, my queen. SF: Don´t call me that... Yet. Zrooz: As you wish. Shadowfang sighed. If there was one thing that she would say, and only one thing, that was irritating about the Khra'Zax, it was that they always had hard to understand when you didn´t want to be adressed with titles. SF: As for which side to choose, you did put yourself under me by the strongest bounds of your, which, considering histroy from the Last Battle, isn´t so binding. So this time, I want you to put the bounds from me. I want you to use the strongest binding I can think of. They both knew exactly what it would be. Zrooz: I will do it. SF: I hope so... For your sake. Zrooz: I swear, by my soul, by my heart and by my blood, that, I, Zrooz, will do whatever you asks of me to do. No matter the cost for myself, I will do it. I promise, by soul, by heart and by blood, to follow this. As he finished it, a quick red glow appeared around him for two seconds. SF: Very well. Maybe, after all, I can trust you this time. But I warn you. If you ever finds a way to break it, and betrays me again, I will deal with you just as with those I am seeking. Do you understand? Zrooz: Yes. SF: Good. I can´t afford to have any backings now, so if you betray me, Zrooz, you will wish that you never heard about the word pain. You will also wish that I would be happy to deal with you only with powers from my line into the Blood Dragons. Zrooz: I promise, I will not betray you. SF: Good. Then, I believe it is time for you to leave. You know where the things are. Now go find them. And don´t return before you have them all, or knows where they had been moved or how they were destroyed. Now go! She looked as he disappeared in a thunderbolt. One day, she would have to deal with him. It was just the nature of the Khra'Zax race to break their bonds. Even in the ancient time of the Last Battle, where the Sho'Gar'Shi had unleashed their secret weapon, scouring the Demon Soul into the Place of Existing, the Khra'Zax had not been entirely trusted. They had always changed side as first they had any opportunity. She knew that he always would look for a chance to betray her, no matter how much it would cost him. At least, she thought, he was forced to obey her for the moment. Finally knowing that she could allow herself some rest without fearing that the time ran out, she lay down. All her rests this far had been full of pain, of sadness or of fear for taking to long. Now, at least, she could allow herself to rest without risking to loose important time. She started to smile. Indeed, things were starting to go by her help.

SF: By the neverending plane, why is this happening!
She looked at the clouds gathering up on the sky before her. She knew a thunderstorm was coming against her. She also knew this was not a natural storm. She knew that if she were flying when it reached her, she would be lucky if a bolt of lightning would struck her and make her fall down to the ground. SF: I begin to think that I maybe should have looked one of those ancient Megademons to slay instead... At least I know what it takes to slay one of those... This, I have no idea how to stop him... She glared angrily at the clouds, and then flew down to a cave on the ground.

Looking down at the ground, Shadowfang felt as if she were able to command anything and expect it to be done. This was how it should feel. Who else were having the right do command anything and expect to get it done than her? Who else had in their claws the future of two kinds of dragons? And, who else where destined to become the queen of those two kinds? She could only think of six other kinds that had the same powers as those. And two of those six kinds had given birth to her kind. She knew that if anyone would have more right to command than her, it would be those that long ago, before time even existed, had given their last energy, their lives, to carry the Sho'Gar'Shi into battle against the Demon Soul. Those who had given their lives to secure the future of every other dragon. She also knew that there were a few of those alive still. And she knew, that once all medallions had been found, she would first of all go to them. And she would ask what they were requiring from her. She could already imagine it. She also knew what she had the right to do. She knew that once she was in command over the Double Moon Dragons and Those Without Name, she would visit the shrine of the old protector. The dragon who had sacrificed himself to protect Dragonar. To make sure that the work of those who died in the Last Battle did not be in vain. She also knew that she would get an answer. She knew exactly what question she would ask. She knew that if anyone dared to say she had no right to do it, the dragons of the Five Powers would instantly kill him or her. She also knew what the answer would be. She already knew what was clear. But she was still going to ask, because as she was going to be one of those that everyone listened to, she would have to make sure none could go against her. She looked down on the ground again. Thinking on her future again, she imagined sitting on a trone made of gold. And everywhere on it there was rubies and diamonds. She would be guarded by two Shragons that never would let anything hurt her. She would be helped by her sister Bloodmoon who knew exactly what to do when trying to tell stupid humans how to see things the right way instead of their one-sided view of dragonslaying. She also knew, that in everything she would get, there was only one that she would share it all with. One that she would gladly give everything. And that was Golden Star. He was from Those Without Name, the other kind she would rule besides her own. And he was important as well. That was why they loved each other. They both had to do the right things no matter the cost. and they both did it. None other would be able to understand their sacrifices as they did. She landed outside a cave. But tonight, it was not a cave. Tonight, it was a palace.

Shadowfang looked at the diamond lying before her. She knew she would find it there. She knew exactly why it was there. And she knew that behind her something moved in the bushes, ready to attack her. But what she knew, and what the creature in the bushes didn´t know, was that she knew all this. Acting as if she didn´t expect anything, she picked up the diamond. The second before the creature had landed on her, she turned around with her claws slashing through the air. As she looked up, she could see that before her Zrooz lay, bleeding heavily. She knew that wound wouldn't kill him, but she decided to spare him this time.
SF: I will make this your last warning, Zrooz! The next time I see you, I will kill you. I have spared your life this far because I have some special reasons, but the next time I see you, I will kill you no matter what the circumstances is. You are beginning to really draw my patience. And I had little to begin with! She flew off. As she launched into the air, her tail hit his head. He wouldn´t wake up until two days had passed. She hoped it would make him loose her track. There was no need to tell him why she had spared him more exactly, but it was important. She looked at a mountain before her. How close it was. It seemed so easy just to fly there and end it all in one final battle. But she knew she wouldn´t be able to do it. If he was alone, she would easily have defeated him. But just as all her other enemies, he had surrounded himself with a lot of guards. He had even brought two humans with him. She thought this world was beatiful, and she knew that the kind of humans he had brought would turn it into a pile of rusty weapons if they were allowed to stay here for ten years. If she attacked him now, when he was in his most guarded fortress, she would not even be able to see him before she were overmanned. Thinking on how she would kill him for the crimes he had done, she flew in the other direction. She had to wait. The message she were waiting for could come any day, and she would be ready for it.

Shadowfang looked at the medallion before her. It looked so unimportant were it was, lying in the dirt. It was black with a red flame on the front side. However, she knew that even if it looked worthless, it was worth more than any amount of gold. Even just the black metall itself would be enough to make anyone who owned so much gold looking like a poor. However, the black had not catched her eyes. It was the red flame. She knew exactly what it meant.
SF: At last... After so long search... After so long wait... Finally they found it... And now, that they have sent it to me, I can find the next. It will be hard to find them all when they are scattered across different worlds, but it was the only way to protect them... And now, we soon have found all. She opened the medallion. It was empty, but the metall had red signs in it. SF: So... A mountain... I must find a mountain... Where the doom brings it open, where the war is starting, where the lovers part and the power falls out... I have only a little idea what this means... Where the lovers part... Please, don´t let it means I must leave Golden Star... Doom brings it open... She looked down at the scar on her neck. SF: That is easy to guess... Apparently, I have to wait for them to catch me first... And then find a way to escape... But not without letting them use the crystal to summon an Orruption to destroy this world... Why is it always I who have to make the hard and difficult decisions like dooming worlds? She flew away.

Part 2-Dreams of Blood
((Ok this is part 2. This far, I know that it will be at least four parts. Medallions of the Double Moon contains a little of what happened after part 1, and this is a long time later. In this part I will start to write downs the dreams Shadowfang is having, because now they start to go from just normal to important. When it is in dreams, I will write it like this. )) The large door made of gold opened. A male human came in. The first thing he netoiced was in the other end of the room. It was two statues. The first was of a male dragon of 1000 years. The other was of a female of 5000 years. It was easy to see that she were his sister. It was also easy to see that they were Dragons of Destruction. In front of the two statues were a throne. It was made purely of a red stone. On it sat a female human. On her head laid a crown made by the same red stone as the throne. She looked at him. This was the ruler of the greatest power known. The empress of Shi'Tar. The man kneeled before her. ((Empress of Shi'Tar = EOST)) EOST It looks like you did not receive what I asked you to do, Trizort. Trizort: I promise, I did my best. But I were surprised by them! EOST: Considering you are wanting to receive the job of protecting my caravans against them, that is a poor excuse. Trizort immediatly realised that he had lost his last chance. He had always just barely survived his failures. The empress would not spare him this time. And he knew fully well that he was responsible for his failures. Trizort: Just give me one more chance, please! I will do anything! That was when he realised that something laid before the throne. He noticed that something moved in the shadows there. EOST: No, Trizort. I cannot give you any more chances. If it was anything else, I might have done... But the thing you lost is important to more than just me... You did not lost just a golden orb with strange markings... What you have lost is the soul of a dragon... A very special dragon... One that my friend were waiting for. That was when Trizort realised the creature in the shadows were a young female dragon. It moved into the light. He could tell by the way she looked at him that he had not failed his empress, but that he had failed this dragon. He immediatly realised how important this other dragon had been to this one. Trizort: No, please! I didn´t know he was that important to you! If I did, I would have followed them and found out were he was taken! The dragon jumped on top of him. It jumped with such force that he was knocked down on the floor. He could feel its claws digging into him, pushing as slowly and painfully as they were capable of. He could feel the dragons breath as it looked into his eyes, her fangs only three centimeters away from his face. He knew that he would not survive this. Then the dragon talked. Dragon: You are one of them. You told them it would come! You knew exactly who it was! But know this. I will not let you stop me! You think you can defeat me? You think you can keep me from my love? I am Shadowfang! Now tell me!

Shadowfang felt someone push her easily.
SF: Not now... I´m sleeping... GS: I know... But you can´t sleep anymore. She opened her eyes and saw Golden Star lying in front of her. SF: Why? GS: Because the moon will soon rise. I doubt you want to miss it. Shadowfang looked to the cave entrance and saw that stars already were shining. SF: And you were right... Together, they went outside the cave. The cliff it was on gave them a perfect view of the rising moon. Shadowfang could feel that all was as it should be. She had a beatiful place to sleep, a perfect view of the rising moon, and most important of all, Golden Star was with her. She felt something. When she looked, he had laid one of his wings over her. It was almost as if he had known what she wished. But it was nothing strange thinking on how long they had been together. She was a little sad that she no longer could touch him when she wanted, but it did not matter so very much because he were happy to make her wishes come true. She could feel how small lines of shadow were flowing from the outside of his wing over her body, softly touching her, warming her where the cold stone of the mountain had touched her when she slept. How it flowed into her, as to remind her that he always would be there for her. She could feel how they mixed with her own power. Around her, clouds made of shadow started to appear. She could see how the shadows from Golden Star mixed with her shadow clouds. It was almost as if they had shared the same body. They shared their powers. They could not tell who was creating the shadow cloud or who had small shadow lines flowing from their body. Golden Star licked her head, and then the shadows disappeared. They wanted to continue the contact, to never let it go, but for the time, that was to dangerous. They still had enemies. And now, their enemies were even more dangerous. But he still held his wing over her, like a protective cover. She laid down beside him. He soon laid down to. GS: Both night and day have eyes, but the night is also on our side. During night, we can hide. During night, we can travel. But we can not allow ourselves to be blind for danger. SF: I know... I never imagined that it would go this far... The moment I saw him, I realised what the line about the war meant. I thought that it would be another war, maybe some that we were to stop, but I were wrong... GS: Stop talking about that, my love. Anyone else would do the same if they had suffered like you. SF: Yes... But still... I thought it would end there... Not that it would keep going... First, I had to start a war with the Black Element Dragons... And then with the green... And after that, humans entered the war... And then only more and more have gone into it... It begun even long before I arrived here... GS: But also, none has done as many great things as you have done. SF: Yes... I just remembered! I had a dream! GS: It sounds like it was important? SF: I think so... It was... A room... With statues of two Dragons of Destruction... GS: Yes... The throne room of Shi'Tar... SF: Yes... A man entered. He went over to the throne and kneeled before the empress sitting there... Shi'Tar will rise again... GS: Yes... It never ends... It is nearly like Dragonar... It may fall, but it will always rise once more... SF: Yes... The man had lost something... A golden orb with markings... The sould of a dragon... Golden Star now started to worry. GS: A golden orb with markings containing the soul of a dragon? SF: Yes... And then... A young dragon who waited at the foot of the throne jumped on to him... She said that he was a traitor... That he had lost it with his own will... That he haid tried to keep her from her love... GS: This dragon? SF: Yes... It was me... She looked into his eyes. SF: I were lying at the base of the greatest power we have ever known... I were the dragon who helped the reborn empress of Shi'Tar find her powers... GS: Don´t worry my love... I doubt it will happen anytime soon... And besides, did the dream tell you it would take long for us to reunite? No, I didn´t hear you clearly then if it did... SF: You´re right... GS: Yes... Don´t worry about it... What happens must happen. For now, let´s just watch the moon rise. We still have some time until we must move. Then they laid there, Golden Star holding his wing over Shadowfang. They saw the moon rise. Dragon of the Double Moon and Shragon of the Shadows. A dragon made of flesh and blood, and a dragon who once were made of flesh and blood, but by death, bonds and ancient battles now were made of shadows. Living once more to protect those he loved. Then they flew away into the night, becoming hidden from anyone who tried to spy on them.

??: You must never forget it! No matter how it looks, never forget it! The dangers are not over yet. There still lies ancient powers hidden in the darkness. The same darkness that only you can master! And that you must do, or they will run wildly, destroying everything known as life, making every world look like the remains of the Last Battle. Do never forget it!
Shadowfang suddenly found herself lying on orange dirt. At first, she did not know why it was orange, but then she understood what it was. It was not orange dirt at all, but it was what remained of the grassy hills of K'Zaxxo, one of the battlefields during the Last Battle. Before that, it had been green all the time, and there were young from every kind of creature playing there. Even the Damons (( Note : Damons and demons are two entire different things. )) were playing here. But not since the Last Battle. After that, these worlds have only seen one kind of creature living here... The demons... Shadowfang knew what terrors and horrors had been unleashed in the smoking ruins of Sho'Gar'Shi´s victory. Because of the fires that consumed the sky and time itself, the Sho'Gar'Shi themselves had died shortly after their victory. The dragons who carried them into the battle without fear of their own lives had died. All of them except for a few. But the worst were the Damons. Their race had suffered more than anyone during the war. And the demonic agents who still were alive made it look like they had been betrayed. The chaos that was consuming the worlds affected them so much that they forever changed. Their powers grew to unmeasurable heights. Shortly after, they had made a rebellion against their king Sathur the Dragon. He had managed to escape to another world, but there has been no word from him after that. Scouts found that his ship had been smashed into the sea rocks. It had been attacked, but as far as Shadowfang knew, the ship was of that kind that none were attacking. However, it had been found that survivors had left the wreckage. Wherever they went, they still lives. After the rebellion, even greater chaos had been brought into the worlds. The Damons had suddenly attacked those who once saved them. During that chaos, the Demon Soul had revelead itself fully. Those days would never be forgotten. Just like the Blood of the Night and Shadow would never forget... No! She couldn´t think about that! It was all her fault! She had started it. She had to stop it. But if she did, she would create another time of chaos that would never end. ??: This world once was a happy place... Now, it is a place where only the sad finds peace. You know what will happens if it expands! You know what terrifying things waits under the surface! You know how to stop it! And... You know why you cannot! SF: What is the meaning of this?! Why do you do this to me? ??: So that you never will forget what you must do! You are the only one who can save us. You are the only one who can help us. Shadowfang... ??: Shaodwfang... GS: Shadowfang, wake up! Shadowfang opened her eyes and saw Golden Star looking at her. It seemed that he was worried. GS: I couldn´t find your dreams... What is happening to you? SF: I... I don´t know... It was... It was something with the Last Battle... GS: Then it is much worser than I feared... SF: What do you mean? GS: I was thinking that this could wait until tomorrow, but it looks I was wrong... I saw a Damon today... He didn´t see me, but I saw him... He looked for something... Or someone... SF: Do you think? GS: I don´t know what to think. It could have nothing to do with us, or it could have all... SF: This all becomes so strange... First, the Damons uncovers the gem that can capture the soul of worlds... And then, they find out how to summon the Orruption... And now, I´m having dreams of the first worlds that falled to it... And by some way that I don´t even can guess, I had to flee from a dragon who also had found out how to do it... GS: Yes... But I think I know how... SF: Can you tell me? GS: Tomorrow... Now is not the time for this...

Shadowfang opened her eyes and saw Golden Star outside the cave, looking out over the land. When he saw that she were awake, he went over to her side.
GS: Do you want me to tell you how he could do it now or later? SF: Now please... Every day could be our last... GS: Yes... You´re right... Well, I have thought over it, and now I know how he got the power... I also know where Sathur has been... SF: You... You really knows that as well? GS: Yes... I didn´t think about it untill now... Damons are told to be able to possess every kind of creature... I thought that it was just old legends... That it wasn´t possible... But then I remembered that there is another kind of dragon... That can possess other creatures... And I realised that there should be no impossibility that other creatures could do so as well then... SF: So, you mean? GS: Yes... Sathur is still alive. He has been hiding in a body... I think a human... A powerful warrior... It will take some time before he is overmanned... But this also means that we have greater enemies than we first thought... They are allied... It is the only way... They would never be able to overtake a dragon unless it was willingly on both sides... Our most powerful enemy this far, has allied with the most powerful creature we knows besides the Greater Dragons... SF: Then it means... GS: Yes... we might not have seen the last of the Orruption yet... But I hope it will be a long time before another come... SF: I am more afraid that they will make Ksasas crystals now... GS: Yes... You´re right... SF: It should take time... They can´t make one hundred Ksias crystals so very fast, but once they are done with that... GS: They can destroy a half world with one single crystal... and it is much harder to stop than the Orruption... SF: What shall we do? GS: You are going to rest untill all your powers are back. As for me... I am going to look through my memories if there is any help that can be found there... And then, we will contact someone who can look in the books of Grakashi. Shadowfang went into the cave again and laid down. She understood why he was worrying for her. She liked it. He were so cute when he worried about her health. She closed her eyes and fell to sleep again.

??: Shadowfang, the danger is close! You must run, or you will never live!
Shadowfang looked around and saw that something moved in the shadows behind her. Normally, it would be Golden Star coming back after a scouting round, but normally she would also be able to feel that he was close. She didn´t. Then it was a quick flash of colors, and she knew exactly what it was. A Khra'Zax. She immediatly turned around and ran in the opposite direction. After a time the ground opened under her. She looked up and saw that the sun was shining strong. Her powers were nearly gone... She couldn´t fight during the day. Not now. Not before she had found something to awaken her real powers. She looked in front of her and saw the Khra'Zax closing in. As she looked around, she saw that she was surrounded by them. It was impossible to count them, and not because of their color-shifting scales. SF: Come then! Even if you kill me, you will not win! I will bind my doom to yours! ??: Shadowfang, the danger is everywhere. And yet, hope always exists. For in your most sad moments, happiness is on it´s way, carrying what you already know has happened... Suddenly it became darker. As Shadowfang looked up, she saw that a black cloud had begun to surround the sun. She closed her eyes for a second and looked again. The sun begun to become brown... And... It... SF: It´s... Bleeding? She closed her eyes. When she opened them again, the world had changed. GS: Yes, it is bleeding. It would be strange if it didn´t, considering it was alive just five minutes ago, don´t you think? She looked at Golden Star as he smiled at her. In his mouth, he held a rabbit. He put it down before her. SF: No... It´s not that... But... I was surrounded by Khra'Zax... And the sun was so bright... Then black clouds surrounded it... It became brown and... Started to bleed... GS: Perhaps it was because you were starting to wake up... Sometimes both the real and dreaming world can be seen at those times... SF: Yes... But why would I wake up just at that moment? GS: I think I am guilty for it... Shadowfang looked at were his eyes focused, and saw that a drop of blood were lying on her tail. SF: How did that happen? GS: Actually, it´s something not even a five days old hatchling would become affected by... SF: I promise to not laugh... GS: Well... When I was about to land, the wind suddenly shifted... SF: But it doesn´t make sense... The wind shouldn´t even be able to touch you... GS: No... But I still sometimes feel as if I were still made of flesh and blood... This was one of those times... SF: ... GS: And while I may not be touched by the wind, leaves can... SF: Well, at least you reacted to it... It could have been an arrow... And I know how it can be... After all, I did spend a long time with some other Shragons when I tried to find information about the medallions before my family started to search for them... Golden Star licked her head softly. GS: I thought you might be hungry... It was so long since you ate... Shadowfang saw how he looked at the rabbit. SF: You know you shouldn´t go hunting right now... You should wait, until your mind has fully accepted it... GS: No, I can handle it... SF: I´m still worried... You still find it hard to hunt and receive nothing of your prey except for my happines and health... GS: Well, I must... SF: You must do as I say... I prefer to not give you direct orders as your future queen, but I think that now I must... You are not allowed to hunt food for me until we have found one of the crystals that will allow you to join me in drinking the blood... Do you understand? GS: Yes... SF: Good... He went outside and laid down on a rock. It looked like he was sleeping, but Shadowfang knew that he were sending out his senses for unseen dangers... And that any sound, no matter how small, could wake him if his mind thought it could be dangerous... She looked at the rabbit... It had been a long time since she ate anything... And she couldn´t live on energies she took from fallen opponents forever... She didn´t like that he had hunted for her... She decided to find one of the crystals as fast as possible... Then, she lowered her head and began to eat.

The sun was clear. No clouds in sight. It was a beatiful day. At least, it was a beatiful day if you not were a Dragon of the Double Moon who were fleeing from enemies. Then it was one of your worst days ever. If it was a day at all. Shadowfang did no longer know. Time didn´t matter really here. She didn´t know if it was day or night, because the sun was clear even during night. If she ever had thought about how the worst place she could think about would look, she would feel as if she had arrived there. And she really hated it. Most of all, she hated to be forced to run. She wanted to fight, to tear the flesh of her enemies into nothingness, but she wasn´t a fool. She knew that if she fought them, now and here, she would be defeated in about five seconds. She had to do something less directly if she was going to defeat them. But she didn´t have the time. She had laid down in a bush for a long time and her wing had nearly healed. She didn´t remember when she got the wound, just that she had falled to the ground when she tried to fly away. She looked up into the sky. She knew it was hopeless. She only had two advantages over Khra'Zax. The first was her ability to fly. The second was her powers. Her powers had been unnable to help her as the sun was so strong that it sometimes made the water burn. Her ability to fly had been lost when she received the wound on her wing. This meant that the advantages were for the Khra'Zax. Even a single one of them could easily defeat her now, and they were at least twenty. If she was older, she would had been able to easily crush them. But now, as she was young, they were three time bigger than her. She saw a shadow quickly pass over the ground. When she looked up, she saw a red bird flying high up in the sky.
SF: Great... Now they´ve called in those birds... I´m beginning to grow tired of them... She looked at the bird as it circled around the area she were hiding in. It didn´t know exactly were she was, but it did know between what points it should look. Then it saw her. In three seconds, it stood before her, looking at her with blue eyes that burned with green flames in the middle. She knew she couldn´t win. Only a few dragons had been able to fight the terror their screams put into young dragons, and those had been much more powerful than her. And they had also had all their powers at hand. Then it screamed. It didn´t sound as anything special, more like a normal bird screaming, but for a young dragon, it had a hidden sound. Every young dragon that heard them froze in terror, and even some adults as well. Shadowfang didn´t know the name of the human who first created them, but she knew fully well why he had done it. Every part of them were shaped to kill dragons. And Shadowfang had no chance of escaping. It slowly walked towards her. Then, just as it raised it´s head to attack her head, a nearby branch cracked. The bird din´t seem interested in it. That was it´s only misstake. Suddenly, something jumped out of the shadows. It was to fast for Shadowfang to clearly see what it was, but she did see how it jumped onto the bird and cut of it´s head with a single bite. Then she saw it. It was a young dragon. She saw immediatly who it was. SF: Ziago! I thought you were gone! Z: No. I will never leave you. Because then, I must leave the only hope my kind has for surviving. She ran up to him. He softly put one of his wings over her wound. She could feel how he healed it. Z: How is Golden Star? SF: He is good... But I´m starting to worry... He went hunting for me last night... And he still hasn´t full control over his mind... Z: Don´t worry... I´m sure he is able to handle it... At least he should be able to handle it while you are around to tell him about it... She had to smile. Ziago knew exactly how they felt for each other. He also knew how they worried about each other. Shadowfang knew that if she hadn´t found Golden Star, Ziago would had done the exactly same things for her. She was really happy to have met him again. She liked him, and it was for more than the reason he had saved Golden Stars soul when he became a Shragon. If it wasn´t for Ziago, they would never had been able to see each other again. She would have been somewhere in a forest, feeling as if life was worth nothing while Golden Star would be trapped inside a golden orb lying in the darkest prisons there was. Z: I will join you soon... But until then, you must be carefull Shadowfang. Then everything disappeared. It was totally black. She was afraid something had happened to him, but then she heard him whisper... Z: I will protect you... Both of you... I have yet to show you my true powers... Take this gift... And tell him, I am on my way... She looked up and saw the reason to why it was dark. The sun was gone. Then, suddenly, two white orbs began to appear in the sky. It was the Double Moon. Ziago had used his powers to give her the gift she would need most of all. She felt her powers grow. And when they reached their limits, she could feel how she grew herself. In ten seconds, she grew as if she had been alive for 5000 years. She closed her eyes for a second. Eyes that now were the size of an adult human. When she opened them again, the Khra'Zax that she had runned from was before her. They saw her now. And their eyes became filled with fear. SF: Now, it is your time to feel fear... True fear. She raised her paw. Then she brought it down on the nearest of them with full power. It was crushed. She looked at the others. They began to run, but did not get far. She created shadows that held them in place. Slowly, she moved closer to them. As she saw how they looked towards her with fear, she began to smile. Golden Star licked her head. GS: You know you must be carefull when flying through forests. Always look out for branches. SF: Sorry... I thought about my last dream... GS: Did you have another of those dreams again? SF: Yes... But this was different... She told him about how she had runned, how a young dragon had saved her from the bird, how it had given her the Double Moon to increase her powers. How she herself had grown. How easily she had killed the Khra'Zax that had hunted her. and lastly... SF: It was Ziago. He is coming back to help us! GS: Ziago? Then it is finally some good news. If anyone could help us now, I would guess it was him. SF: Yes. I know. GS: I hope I can get time to thank him now. He left before I could last time... SF: Don´t worry, I will make him wait for you. I just need to ask him, and he will do it. GS: I know... And I also know how much he means to you. I have realised that even I cannot be harmed by solid objects, there are still some powers that can defeat me very easy... If something happens to me, do you promise that you will not let my death prevent you from doing what you must? SF: I will... GS: That is all I can ask... You have a good friend that can help you if that happens... If I die, don´t let it darken your feelings. Just accept it. The greatest way I can think of you honoring my memory, is by showing the place I died to the young of my two greatest friends... You and Ziago. Then they flew off to a nearby cave. They would wait for him there. And when he came, the time of hiding would be over.

She ran over an endless plain. Behind her, a Khra'Zax was chasing her. Then, it became dark. She smiled. It was exactly as she knew it would be. She turned around. The Khra'Zax jumped at her, but she just shoot a cloud of shadow at it. Then the sun came. But it was just like a normal day. Shadowfang looked at the Khra'Zax. Or, what remained of it. She saw the red liquid slowly sink into the ground. Then she flew away.
Z: Shadowfang, wake up. She slowly opened her eyes. Z: Finally. I have waited so long. I became worried. SF: Why? Since you helped me, my dreams are much better. Z: Yes... But I´m not talking about dreams... I´m talking about if something had happened to you... SF: That is so sweet of you... Where is Golden Star by the way? Z: He is out and scouting. SF: Well, I guess he just does what he likes. Z: Yes. Is there anything you want me to get for you? Something to drink or eat? SF: No. Z: Well, if you need something just tell me. He licked her head. Z: And don´t worry for Golden Star. He just needs to be alone for some time... Then he went outside. He laid down on a rock, just like Golden Star did when keeping watch. He looked at her for a short moment, and then turned to watch over the land. Shadowfang closed her eyes. It was not long before she was asleep again.

Part 3-Dreams of night
(( Ok, I know part 2 was very short. You don´t need to tell me about it. (That is, if you tell me anything about my story at all) And besides, if you want to complain, who´s writing the story? However, in this part there won´t b eso much about Shadowfang except for when she has one of those important dreams. I will focus more on Ziago. )) Ziago looked up into the top of the tree. He begun to get irritated. He had thought that he was going to for at least one time have any luck, but the bird he was after just escaped him everytime. He didn´t know when it had reached this world, but he knew exactly well where it came from. And he also knew how hard they were to catch. He also knew that if he hadn´t been forced to see the terrible thing he saw, he would have catched it in the third tree it had flied to. Now, he was on number ten. He closed his eyes for a second. He needed to focus his thoughts. That was the only way for him to get his meal. And Shadowfang would want him to get it. His thoughts flew away with him. Shadowfang. It was one month since she was captured, and yet it was as if it had happen yesterday. He could still remember hearing them as they approached. He could still remember how she had told him to leave. He also could remember the blood he had found on the ground when he returned. Shadowfangs blood. She was still alive, but he didn´t know how long it would remain that way. There still was one of their opponents alive that could cause him no end of pain. And it was not just pain to his body. He closed his eyes for a second again. He had to concentrate. When he opened them, he was surprised. He had been there, not moving at all, so long that the sun had begun to go down. And the bird was now on the lowest branch. Just as it would bee on the third tree when he was on a normal hunting. He smiled. He lookeed at it and it looked back at him. Their eyes met each other, and they saw both what would happen. A half second later, Ziago jumped. In two seconds, he had landed on the other side of the tree, carrying his meal. He flew back to the cave he had found earlier that day. When he arrived, he found it empty. Apparently, Golden Star was out. He was that alot these times. Ever since Shadowfang had been captured, he was out most of the time. Sometimes, Ziago felt as if he could have done something to stop it. But they both knew it was impossible. He still felt as if he could had taken away some of Golden Stars pain if he only had stayed. He laid the bird down. At least, he could do some things to not bring Golden Star more pain. As he was alone, he begun to eat his prey. He had decided to not bring his meals in when Golden Star was there. He knew how the Shragons mind was still accepting the changes. And therefore he didn´t want Golden Star to see his prey. Especially not this time. He knew how Golden Star and Shadowfang had hunted just this kind of bird when they were young. He would have preffered something else, but this was the only way he could find a path leading into his memories of his old home. Z: Dragonar... It is as if I haven´t been there in a thousand years... He quickly ate the bird. Then he flew away with the bones and feathers. He put them far away where Golden Star never had to see them. It was better to not take any chances. If they were to rescue Shadowfang, they both had to be able to focus on the goal totally. It was dark. The moon was red. And the stars were looking weaker. Suddenly the sun rised, but Shadowfang did not care. She saw how it started to fall. Then it crashed down before her. It was no bigger than one of her eyes. She picked it up. It was still warm. She looked up. For a human, this would had been a magical night. The stars were starting to fall as well. First, it only was one every five seconds, maybe two, but then, it became faster until now three stars fell every second. It was just as the legends. SF: The stars are falling... The flames of the sun has died... We waited forever, until our hope was crushed in the cliffs. We thought we were doomed... That our end was here... But then, out of the shadows, the hope returned... Carried on wings, burning like the dead sun, and beautiful like the morning... Two dragons, made of red shadows and white shadows appeared before our eyes... They were the first... They saved us all... And we rewarded them with death... We will never forget... We will never forgive ourselves... We will fight in their names... We will spill our own blood... To unleash our eternal powers... And punish ourselves... We will heal by our own wounds... And then die from them... And all this time, we will never... Forget... We are the childrens of the Forgotten Night. We are the bringers of blood. We... Are the end, to all who can´t see... The true meaning... Of this slaughter... We... Are... Forever... Just like the night and day...

Ziago looked behind him. The ground was covered with blood. One tiny crack still remained, but it had soon disappeared. They had been more boldly than ever before, and he knew that he had to hurry. This meant that they were close to do whatever it was they were planning to do. And he knew that once they had reached their goal, Shadowfang would be beyond rescue. He didn´t know exactly what he had been slashing his claws at during the fight. He didn´t know if it was human, Khra'Zax, dragon, Damon or undead. He only knew that it had been enemies. He didn´t even know who their true enemy were anymore. All he knew was that whoever it was had done something that none had done before.
Z: He must really be strong... If he can get all these races together... And even the more... Demonic creatures... But how strong he may be, I have still a secret for him... And I think he´s not going to like it... He flew away. He had to hurry if he was to get in time. He wished not for the first time that Golden Star was with him. Then they would had been able to reach Shadowfang in just two more days. But he hadn´t seen the Shragon since that night the star had nearly crushed them... Golden Star had flied off, and Ziago hadn´t seen him since. What was even stranger was that he had sensed something about the fallen star. Something familiar, yet strange. He had to investigate it later. Right now, he must only care about the survival of his kind, and that meant that he must rescue Shadowfang, no matter the cost.

Z: Tell her, that I thank her for making so much work for me, but that I cannot accept. However, if she wishes to change her mind over my invitation, then she is always welcome.
The Khra'Zax before him looked like it was going to say something, then thought better of it and ran back to where it came from. Ziago just couldn't stop thinking about how it all had turned out. Z: She still holds some feelings for me... Just as I still have some feelings for her... I still remember how it was... ((This is a part of Ziagos memories)) It was a sunny day. Ziago had returned to his sister after hunting. He had laid the rabbit before her. She was so weak. All she could catch by herself was the rats that ran around. He felt so sad. His sisters life was nearly like it would be better for her being dead. But he loved her. And he would always do his best to protect her. They smiled at each other. Then he flew away to continue his hunting. Ziago had looked everywhere. His sister could not be found. Where was she? He had to find her before something happened. If she was hurt, he would never forgive himself. That was when he saw her. She was standing before another dragon. It was not an Za'Aazir dragon. He was confused by it. Why would she talk to any other kind of dragon than theirs? She only had bad memories of those times. Then he saw that another dragon laid by their side. It was small. Small enough that his sister could have defeated it. Then he saw it. The blood on her claws. She had defeated it. It moved a little. The dragon standing before her said something. He saw that it was green, but it had a small black under the green. His sister then looked at the small dragon. He ran as fast as he could. He reached them just as her eyes begun to glow. He was afraid. He knew what could happen if he didn´t stop her. Ziago: Zorazi, stop! His sister looked at him. Zorazi: Brother, I didn´t expect you to come here. Ziago: You must stop now, sister! If you do this, you know what can happen! Zorazi: I know... I want it to be... To long have I always forced myself to remain silent, to take everything and lock it out... I have never felt the wind blow past me in high speed among the highest clouds... I have never felt the blood of my prey, fresh from the wounds... And never have I had the power to defend myself... Untill now... Now, I will have it... And more... I will always love you my brother... No matter what happens... Ziago knew he couldn´t stop her. He realised how it must feel for her. Ziago: And... I will love you... Even when I am forced to push my claws deep into your heart, I will still love you... Zorazi: I know... Good luck, my brother. Good luck in defeating me. Ziago: And to you to, in evading me. Then she put one claw on the small dragon. For a second, it was dead silent, then a green spark was seen between her claw and the dragon. Her scales changed. They became green, green like emeralds. So did her eyes. The small dragon looked as if it was weak. It´s powers had been lost. It would survive, but it would need help. Zorazi looked at the green-black dragon beside her. Zorazi: I am ready... Ziago knew instantly who it was. He knew the life of their parents. He knew the pain that their mother had received, not only in wounds. He knew how she had been damaged in her heart when she lost the first one she had loved. Ziago knew exactly what connection they had to this dragon. Ziago: You are our lost brother... ??: Yes... I am a combination of black and green Elemental Dragons... And your brother... Believe me, I will never harm any of you two... Unless I must... Ziago: You two must leave this world... Now, before I am forced to strike you down! ??: I know... But we will return... We must return... Zorazi: Let´s hope it will be long before that... Ziago: Yes... And I will also hope that it will be when I am at another world... That I won´t have to fight you... Then a green portal had opened beside them. The green-black dragon jumped through it. Zorazi: I will always love you, my brother... I will keep a spot open for you in my closest circle... Ziago: And I will do my best to keep a spot open for you in the shrines... If ever you wish to come back to live with us... Zorazi: I may do so eventually, but it won´t be in a very long time... She walked up to beside the portal. Ziago: Remember, no matter what happens, I will always love you, my sister... My sister, the Emerald Queen... Zorazi: And I will always love you... Then she had jumped through the portal. ((Memory part over)) Ziago knew that she would never truly die. He laid down. It was as if it was impossible. They were locked in an eternal combat. The only way to end it, was then one of them accepted the others invite. And they both knew how hard it wold be for the one who did. He started to sleep. He knew that whatever happened, he would still love his sister. Even if she was the Emerald Queen. Even if she had destroyed the homeworld of their kind five times. He would still love her, and she would still love him. That, was destined to be, forever.

The dragon moved her wing a little. Her green eyes was focused on Ziago, as if they were trying to both break and protect him at the same time.
Z: You shouldn't be here... If anyone sees you, I can't protect you... EQ: I know, but I had to see you... It was so long since I heard anything from you... She walked closer to him. EQ: And, I know how much she means to you... Therefore, I must know what I should do... Ziago thought over it. She had told him three times how Shadowfang was. He was worried. She had never been like it before. They were both worried for her. Ziago because of his feelings, and Zorazi because of her brothers feelings. Z: I am not sure... But I think that it could get a little better if she had an opportunity to hunt her food by herself... I think that something is wrong with her... Something that has to do with her powers... He did not need to tell what powers those were. Shadowfang was a Dragon of the Double Moon. Her powers were combined from Dragons of Night and Dragons of Blood. Both of those two kinds preffered when they could hunt their food by themselves. Dragons of Blood because that allowed them to increase their own powers. Dragons of Night because of the world they had lived in... Now, it was ruined... All because of the humans... And the poison that was everywhere in the air meant that it was possible to eat something only if it had lived five minutes earlier. Most Dragons of Night had managed to begun eating food they received from others, but the rest felt ill the moment they touched it. It was just how they had lived during more than tweny million years. It would be hard for them to fully accept their new home. Shadowfang was one of the rest... EQ: Maybe... But it has been hard to find something small enough for her to take down herself... She is so weak... At least it looks like she has started to become friend with Greendoom... Z: Really? EQ: Yes... Apparently, they both have the same feelings when talking about humans... Z: I should have guessed it... EQ: I must go now... Before anyone sees me... I promise, I will do my best to help her... Z: I know... I always knew... Then she flew away. He looked after her. He had always knew how she would act against Shadowfang. Z: And I will remember to say it when you are captured... Zorazi was to far away to have heard him, but he still felt as if she had turned her head towards him with a smile...

Part 4
Dreams of Doom Golden Star watched the leaf fall. It reminded him off days long ago. Days when things were so much simplier, when he didn´t need to care for anything but Shadowfang... Now, he had a lot more to protect... He still remembered how it all had started... He laid down on the floor, very weak. Before him, the throne made of emeralds looked as if it smiled evily at him... But he knew it didn´t. She didn´t give him an evil smile either... She was not that kind. She knew how powerfull he was, and therefore she gave him respect even if she was a lot stronger... EQ: You have really been a worthy opponent, Golden Star... You don´t have to worry... Soon, you can go back to Shadowfang... You just need to give me your powers... And then leave your body... That is all you need to do, and then you can join her again... Golden Star knew why she said it. She didn´t need to, they both knew it was what would happen anyway... But she said it to be nicer to him... He knew how she had a connection to Shadowfang, how Ziago gave her a small connection... Because of that, she tried to make him feel better, as that would make Shadowfang feel better, which would make her brother Ziago feel better... Golden Star had thought a long time over what she had said... To love your brother, but be forced to fight him where both are locked in an eternal combat... He knew that he would have hated it... Because of that, he respected the Emerald Queen, or Zorazi as her real name was, since she had been able to keep her anger at the low rate she did. He would have not have stopped where she did... He looked her in the eyes... And then felt it all run out of him... His powers were gone... Then, with his last breath, he could sense something... GS: He is coming... He is on his way here... To return to his power... Then he had leaved his body, now nothing more than an empty shell... The small amount of powers it still had vanished into flames. He could feel how he was reborn. Where once his body had been, there now was only shadows. Where there had been scales, his powers now ran as a black line, keeping the shadows inside of him... Where he once had a heart, there now was nothing... All that remained, was shadows and powers... And a feeling... A feeling of where Shadowfang was and how she felt... All he would need to protect her... But also the knowledge of what was on it´s way... EQ: I feel it to... Long ago, the sides in the war joined together against him... Our only hope is to do the same thing now... GS: Yes... I will do all I can to reduce the rate at which his powers grow, while you prepare your army to sela him in his prison again... Then he flew off... He watched the leaf fall and touch the ground... It had been so long since then... So long since he had gained these powers... And they had only grown... He heard something behind him... When he turned around, he saw a creature that looked like him, except that it had flames instead of shadows... GS: So... You´re not going to give up yet? Have I not showed you that I am stronger than you? Do you still want to challenge me, even though I could defeat your creator and master? He focused, and shot away a spiral made of shadows at it. The moment it had contact, the fire creature rorared in pain... Then it collapsed... The spiral went on for a little bit more, then disappeared... That time long ago, he would have needed twent spirals to kill that creature... And he could shoot a maximum of seven at the time... Now, he could do it with only one... And his maximum amount at the same time was somewhere around fifty... And he did not count the shadowbolts he could release... To count them, he would need to stop time for three days... He looked up into the tree as another leaf begun to fall... This to remined him of those days, those simplier days, when it was so much easier, when he only had to care for Shadowfang... And now, he had another thing to care for... The rift itself, the same world he had hatched in, the same world... That held the crystal... The crystal that made the web between every world... The same crystal that if destroyed, would destroy every world... He now had to protect it as well... GS: My task has increased... As have my powers... But their increase is nothing... Compared to my will... Then he flew off...

He still remembered how she had looked... How her eyes had showed clear signs of terror, terror of what she might do... He still remembered it as if it was yesterady, even though it was long ago...
He felt his life slowly flowing out of him with the blood from the wound caused by the arrow. He saw her standing before him, her eyes filled with terror and sadness... She didn´t yet know that he would just come back, just like all of his kind did... He had seen how she had got angry at the one who had fired of the arrow by accident... He didn´t know if it was longer possible to see them at all any longer... He didn´t know how many pieces she had ripped them into... But yet, the most terrifying things of all she could do, was near to become... He coulds see how she looked at him, a tear forming in each eye, and slowly, her scales turned to a darker red... Small, black flames started to appear around her... He knew what was happening... And he also knew how strong she would be... But the most terrifying was thhat under her head, a Bloodflower was... A Ksias-crystal would make her powers almost unlimited when she was this angry, but a Bloodflower... That would not even be close... She looked down at the flower... Then he said it... GS: Shadowfang, I... It will not end here... Even if I die... I... He looked into her eyes... Those same eyes that, the moment he would reveal his identity, could see him as an enemy, not even worth of thinking about... SF: What is it? He gathered his strenght, for he knew that even if his kind had been forgiven, there was not many thet trusted them... GS: I... I was the one who started the war, long ago... Before even your mother hatched... SF: Do... Do you mean that war? There was no need to talk more exactly... Whenever someone said "That war" it was knew instantly what they talked about... None would forget it... He would never forget the feelings... Standing before a young hatchling, probably only a week old, seeing the look of terror in it´s eyes... How he had enjoyed it... Feeling his claws sink into blood... How it had tasted in his mouth... Back then, he was different... Before the spell had been done... GS: Yes... She looked at him, for one second, the change to black became faster, then she became red again. The flames disappeared. SF: Why didn´t you tell me before? GS: I... I was afraid that you... SF: No, I will not hurt you... Even if you were revealed to be my enemy, I would spare your life... She lifted him up and carried him into a nearby small cave. He only remembered two things after that... The first that she had laid him down and given him some food, the other that he had fell asleep while she watched...

It was easy to follow the black trail across the land. The only way he could lost a track this easy to see, was if someone wanted him to, or if he did it himself... He remembered all that had happened... And not for the first time, he felt how she must feel without power over herself... Always forced to act as if someone else was controlling you... Which, in one way of seeing it, was correct... He still remembered when she talked about it before the disaster struck...
He saw Shadowfang lying down, it was clear that she was exhausted by hunger. Before her, a green dragon was standing, clearly showing that he cared for her. On the other side of the clearing, a larger green dragon laid. Her head had many wounds, but that was the only sign that she was tired. The young green dragon looked at Shadowfang again, and then down at a rabbit lying between them. Golden Star knew that this young dragon was Greendoom... He felt as if it was yesterday they had met... And he knew that he cared for Shadowfang like a friend... Greendoom looked at Shadowfang again, and then, he had looked terrified... After three seconds, Golden Star had seen why... He knew that the young dragon would not survive without help... He had jumped to him in a single leap, and then took another to bring them to the older dragon who was waking up from the noise. She looked at Shadowfang, and she to became terrified of what she saw. GS: Zorazi, I know you feels like she is your responibility right now, but just take Greendoom and leave... I will take care of this... She had immediatly done as he had said... Even the Emerald Queen herself where not stupid. Unlike most other rulers, she knew that if anyone else said the mosrt wise thing to do, it was not bad because they were not ruling over anything... GS: Shadowfang, don´t do this... That was when he saw the arrow... It was hidden, only the point remained, but he could clearly see what it was made of... GS: No... He looked as Shadowfang became black before his eyes. Her scales were sending out small black flames as well as changing color. The last thing he noticed was the white arrowhead shattering, sending out energy into her blood, then a black flame touched him, and he passed out... He had followed the trail for one week... Wherever she went, all that remained in her path was the black trail... Nothing survived in it... He knew that landing on it would kill him instantly even if he was a Shragon... He looked towards the mountain... He knew what laid on the top... It was not visible to most, but a few could see it... Shadowfang and Golden Star where two of those that could... He could even sense it... He knew that if she managed to reach that point, he would have no hope of being able to reach her... Not even he could break into the prison she was heading for... Not even he would dare to set free what laid there... If she reached the top of the mountain, she could open a portal... And he knew exactly to which dimension it would lead... GS: I have a really bad feeling about this... He flew towards the mountain as fast as he could, sensing that, somewhere, a flame was rising in another dimension, preparing to consume everything it could to increase it´s powers, and finally destroy everything that had ever existed and ever would...

He could never have been prepared for what he saw. And he also knew he would never be able to resist it. In front of him, he saw an orb of flame. But he knew it was much more than anything else. He had seen it once before, long ago, just when he had hatched, and he knew exactly what it was capable of... Then he found himself shrouded in fire, and slowly, the lines of power around the shadows inside him disappeared. And then, the shadow clouds fel away. However, instead of emtpy air, where once Golden Star had stood as a Shragon, he now stood as a young white dragon, and his eyes were filled with something... Before, they had been filled with rage and fear, but now, they were filled with something else... They were filled with the wish for blood... Dragon blood... With one single flap of his wings, he flew away into the sky. A massive white flash could be seen, then he landed... As he touched the ground, it begun to crack. The cracks slowly spread. It looked as if they were not moving at all, but he knew that every week they moved one centimeter further. Once they had fully grown around this world, they would not be stopped by anything. He knew it was long until then, but why would that matter? After all, they had all the time they would need... And none could hope to stop them... Just like the mouse couldn´t stop the cat, none could stop them... Their powers could only be matched by other dragons... But they had a very large advantage... Unlike all the other dragons, he, as some of his kind did and the rest would soon do, felt that they lived only for one thing... To hunt down every other dragon there was... He thought about how it had been the first time... Sinking his fangs into her neck, instantly binding himself into a new world, preventing him from being pulled back through the portal, just like they all did... A smile spread on his face. Soon, it would start again. He already knew some places where he could look for young dragons to allow his friends and servants to bind themselves into this world so that they could stay here... And once the cracks circled the whole world, they would have full power over it... He flew away up into the sky again, then towards the largest cave he knew. The orb of fire floated in the air for three seconds, and then, sending out a feeling in the wind that something dark was on it´s way, it disappeared...

Part 5
Love and Hate The instant she saw the white flash, Bloodmoon realised what had happened... Looking out over the plains from a tall rock, she allowed a tear to fall as she felt the wave of hopelesness that she felt a minute later. She knew what this would mean... BM: To save this world... I have to kill him... But still, I wonder if I can do it when the time comes... If I can manage to bring an end to him... She looked up in the sky. BM: I don´t know if I can... I don´t know if I can kill him... Not with my sisters feelings for him... She allowed another tear to fall. She had lost track of Shadowfang only yesterday. She had sensed that something would happen, so she had instantly traveled to this world. She knew that it would mean the world she had left would have little chances of survival, but if they didn´t complete the most important tasks, all worlds would have no chance to survive... BM: If only I knew where she was... What her goal is... Then I could find her... But I must move... Every second I wait reduces my chance... She flew off. She had seen the movement in the shadow, watching her, but she knew she didn´t have to worry. After all, why would she need to be scared for it? Maybe the creature that had watched her could report it to some army consisting of millions of creatures she had never seen before, but why would she, Bloodmoon, daughter of Shadowmoon, have to worry about it? After all, the more enemies she had to fight, the more powers she could drain to use during the battle... She had teached it to uncountable armies before. She just needed to make a little wound on an enemy, and her powers would immediatly start to grow. And they would grow faster for every wound she made on her enemies. And only when the battle was over would they return to their normal state. She flew faster, knowing that every moment she wasted, it would only be that harder to find her sister again.

Golden Star smiled. He laid down on his throne. The throne that was a symbol of his whole kind. He had carefully cut it out of the stone the mountain was made of. Any misstake and he would had to destroy it and start from the beginning. But he did not make any misstake. He had learnt long ago the exact strenght and locations he would need to hit to make it exactly as it must be. On the top of it, three black and red birds were sitting. Now that their true master had risen again, they only served him, and those who were high enough of his commanders. Golden Star was the highest of all his commanders. To open the way for his friends, he would need to first capture some young dragons. While he couldn´t do it himself, these birds were the perfect weapon for it. Their whole creation had been focused on hunting and defeating dragons. Even their sounds had been adjusted so that only the strongest of dragons could avoid being so overwhelmed with terror that they couldn´t move. He looked as the birds flew out of the cave. He didn´t know how long they would be gone, but when they returned, they would do so with a young hatchling. Then he could start to open portals for his friends to come. And then, it would be so much easier to capture more. And once they had enough, they could create the portals to allow their whole kind to come here. Once they had enough hatchlings to make sure that all who came here could stay. He at first had hated the curse they carried, but then, as he had sunk his tooths and claws into the young dragon when he appeared through the portal, he had changed his mind. He loved it. He smiled again. Soon, all would be as it was back then, and he would be in the middle of it all. He had a quick feeling that he had forgot something, but it nearly almost disappeared. After all, what could he have forgot that would ruin his plans?

Ziago watched the moon rise. Three days had passed since he felt the wind, the dark wind, and he knew exactly what he had to do. The problem was, he wasn´t sure if he could do it...
Z: I must stop it... I can stop it... But then, I will have to abandon Shadowfang, and I have no idea what that will lead to... Her track is already becoming difficult to follow... He looked back at the moon. Then he saw something. Z: It looks different... But what... Like a lightning bolt from the sky, it struck him... Z: It is entering a Pmia state... It is another of those times she can absorb power through it... A lot of power... So that she will be seen like a sun to anyone who has the ability to track it... That is when I will find her her. Until then, I just have to follow her track. Two or three days more, and then I will be able to see exactly where she is... He flew off, flying as fast as he could. He knew that if he allowed Shadowfang to get to far away, he would never catch up bewfore her powers went back to normal... And then he could´nt find her as easily longer...

Golden Star saw it in the distance. He could see the three shapes flying towards the cave he stood just outside of. He could see a fourth larger shape appear behind them. He could see three piles of burning feathers fall to the ground. He could see three other small shapes fly to the larger. He could see the four shapes fly away.
GS: I knew it... Leave it to a mortal to create a new kind of creature, and it will fail... Ask him to make a creature that will eat fish, and the fishes will eat it... Ask him to make a bird that is the expert on hunting dragons, and they will die just by one flame... If it wasn´t for that he is dead since more than five hundred million years ago, I would teach him the true meaning of pain... You will have to do everything by yourself sooner or later if you enlist the aid of mortals or their creations... He flew away. He could do nothing more if he stayed in his cave. He had to take longer time than he had expected. But it wouldn´t matter in the end. The only thing that did matter in the end was if he was able to capture anyone at all...

Shadowfang woke up. She felt like something was missing... Or, to be more exactly, someone...
SF: Deepdeath, where are you? There was only silence. She became worried. She had met him two days earlier, lying beside a river with a lot of blood around him. His wounds had healed very fast, but he still wasn´t in the perfect shape for defending himself. SF: Deepdeath! She heard something behind her. But before she could turn around to look at it, she got struck by terror as a claw was put against her neck. But then she felt that it was wet, and she relaxed. SF: You know, if you want to tro to trick me, you should wait until you have dried if you went for a swim before... Deepdeath pulled back his claw as Shadowfang turned around. She looked at him and was happy to see that he wasn´t hurt. DD: Sorry, but it´s just that when I found this beach, I became so happy... I forgot about everything except for the water around me, the speed at which I passed through it, the waves coming down on me... SF: But you have been through that countless times before, and you didn´t get so happy about it that you forgot everything else. What is it more? DD: Well, there was one more thing, that had controll of the greatest part of me... She looked into his eyes. DD: The thing I was most aware of was the hunger I felt... And the sounds from a nearby island... SF: Shall I guess, or will you tell me? Her smile clearly showed him that she knew exactly what he had heard. DD: Yes. It was full of seals everywhere... If I ever find someone I can call family, I know exactly where we would rise our kids... SF: well, that is good. But now we must move on. Unless you want to stay in your future dreams? DD: No, I can dream later... Let´s go before they find us... And then they flew away.

Ziago knew it was hopeless. Golden Star had been chasing him for three days now. And in just two days, they would have to fight. Ziago knew he wouldn´t be the winner of that fight. Also, because he had to find ways that would delay that fight as much as possible, he now had no hope of finding Shadowfang before the moons had passed each other. He had no hope to survive any longer than these two last days. He knew that he had to fight to the death. If he got captured, it would be terrible. Also it would bring doom upon more than himself. It would bring doom upon everyone who lived in this world. That was when he saw the track. He knew that it was Greendooms tracks. And by seeing the blood that was near them, he knew that he was returning from a hunting trip. He could also see that they were made just half an hour ago. He knew that Zorazi could help him. If they were together, nearly nothing could stop them. He looked up into the sky.
Z: I never thought this day would come... When I would have a chance to join the Emerald Queen, my sister, without fear of being hated by everyone else... Don´t worry, shadowfang... I know that you and Greendoom are frineds... I will protect him for you. Then he ran in the same direction as the tracks went, knowing that finally the events had turned around to help him.

Golden Star carefully laid another silverleaf on the wound in his wing. He had never expected it to turn out that way. Sure, he knew he would receive at least some small wound, but not that he would have to fight three at the same time...
GS: So... The bird has finally left the nest, thinking it is strong enough to deal with the outside world... Very well then, we will see how it will survive once this is over... I wonder how he will feel after it... There are bound to be someone who will hate him for it... And when that day comes, I will be there... And I will give him exactly what he will be wanting... Úntill then, I will watch... And once the little bird is growing to sure in it´s own false security... He swiftly slammed his claws into the ground. GS: It will learn that there is a cat in the bushes... He laid another silverleaf on the same wound. He knew they wouldn´t be enough to all his wounds if he did this, but he also knew that for what he was planning, he would need all the speed he could get, and that meant he had to get his wings healed as fast as he could.

Part 6
Threads in the Shape It was dark. It was more than dark. It was shadows. Shadowfang loved to hide in the shadows. They offered so much more protection than any amount of guards. But, it could of course be because that she was half Dragon of Night. She hadn´t felt this free for years. Then it all changed. Suddenly, the shadows were all gone. It was a very strong light. Stronger than ever before. When it disappeared, she became terrified. What she saw didn´t really scare her. It did however surprise her. But what it did most was that it made her heart break. She could feel a great pain in her heart, even before the blade touched it. She looked up into his eyes. Those eyes who once had promised her all the safety she could even ask for. Now, they were empty, all that she could see in them, was dark flames, and she knew exactly to who those flames belonged...
