honestly? kind of saw it coming

back in my old internet days all of my friends were into pewdiepie and cry and markiplier while i was largely into game grumps and achievement hunter. they kept saying how great and funny pewds was so i watched a few episodes and i never found him funny. keep in mind this was back during his amnesia the dark descent playthrough specifically, but his humor was largely based on rape jokes and lots of loud screaming and got really repetitive with barrels or something and i never really found that funny. i dont know if that ever changed, but i still subbed to him so people would think i was cool. i only unsubbed when he hit a million subs just out of spite lol.

but considering his somewhat intolerant humor, i wasnt too shocked by his anti-semitic videos and jokes. im kind of glad disney/maker let him go, since he wasnt that great anyways.

this is actually a pretty fun story

at the time i was working as a secretary at a law office, and i asked permission to watch the final smash direct from my boss and got it, but she had a client in the other room. so in the beginning hey showed off some cloud stuff and i was a little bored, and then they went into the trailers. keep in mind at the time i was already SUPER hyped for fates, so i had seen like every japanese cinematic already.
oh my god, when they showed the smash logo slash and then ryoma, i knew. i knew it was going to be corrin. and, if youve ever had me in a skype call when theres FE news, youll know how excited i get.

i screamed.
and everyone heard me.
and it was ****ing worth it.

honestly, i find her really relatable. (she is the player character after all lol)
i know a lot of people dont like her or fates that much, but each time i play fates, i find that id consistently make the same or similar decisions depending on the route. above all though, shes kind, and thats how i am and want to be. i really care deeply about my friends and family, and id stop at nothing to ensure that theyre happy and healthy!! i know you can get these exact traits out of many other FE characters, or characters in general, but shes just very much what im like now, but also what i want to be.

1. female corrin (at the VERY least, choosing between male and female corrin, but at least one is confirmed because of yato in the teaser)
2. lucina
3. roy
4. ike
5. eliwood
6. a cool story, very much like the one they had in hyrule warriors. i liked the whole idea that all of the zelda timelines kind of existed in one amalgamation of a universe, and i can see warriors doing the same. that or a crazy time and universe hopping adventure, since shadow dragon, mystery of the emblem, and gaiden/shadows of valentia games take place in the same world as awakening, and the rest like fates and the tellius series (ike) take place in kinda like parallel dimensions. i do really want to be able to visit locations from a good variety of FE games
7. marth so my gf can be rly happy (and hes pretty much confirmed anyways too lol)
8. shadows of valentia and heroes rep. id love if alm and celicia and alphonse were playable but at the very least have some easter eggs.
9. cool costumes like hyrule warriors had. id kill for a Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE chrom skin.
10. for the love of god dont make me have to buy both versions to get all the characters.

my main team right now is female corrin (i unlocked her potential and made her 5 stars when she can only be summoned at 3 and 4), lucina, takumi, and marth!
outside of that i also have 5 stars of:
-seliph
-lyn
-eirika
-young tiki
-tharja
-ephraim
-camilla
-merric

lucina is also level 40 +2 because i got two other 5 star lucinas and merged her with them so now shes got hella bonus stats

he has insane regeneratestion powers so every time he runs his legs break but heal immediately
