This movie is going to suck now isn't it? It's a shame Ben Affleck felt like he couldn't do both at the same time. I would've liked to see a (hopefully murderless) take on Batman by Ben Affleck.

Disappointing but to me the biggest problem with these films (or at least BvS) wasn't the directing but rather the writing.

If Ben still gets a say in how the script turns out, there may be hope for it yet.

I don't think anyone's gonna direct The Batman given how poisonous the DC Cinematic Murderverse (it's still funny saying that) and how WB will force re-shots and edit the film into an abomination like Suicide Squad and soon Wonder Woman (Re-shots were made so Wonder Woman can kiss ladies though I don't see it as progressive unless there was a good reason, which I doubt because Zack Snyder) and Justice League.
