What is your favorite era of Spyro games?

Original - Spyro 1, Spyro 2, Year of the Dragon, Enter the Dragonfly
Season - Season of Ice, Season of Flame, Adventure/Attack of the Rhynocs
Hero - A Hero's Tail, Shadow Legacy, Fusion/Orange
Legend - A New Beginning, The Eternal Night, Dawn of the Dragon

Mine is the Hero era. I have all three of those games and AHT and SL are both great, but Fusion is nothing more than good.

Just DotD; I can't even consider it a LoS game; more like PoS: Phail of Spyro.

Why you dislike Hero?


A Hero's Tail was trying to mix newer gameplay elements with the classic Spyro feel, and that made it less nostalgic than the original four. Couple that with an arrogant as hell Spyro (many thanks, Jess) and you have the makings of only a so-so game. And Fusion and Shadow Legacy were absolutely awful and enjoyable... but not the extent DotD was.

DotD= Dawn of the Disappointment. >_> *brick'd*
