The irony is that the kind of people who use this meme-word are very much that themselves. They project their faults onto others.

Person 1: I lost my job. I need my job so I can pay off the mortgage on our house.
Person 2: Oh talk about triggered. You're just salty. Get over it.
Person 1: The company couldn't afford to keep me and 50 other people because the company was forced to pay five times the amount of tax while having to pay more money towards new domestic employees after Trump enforced these new laws.
