Spyro to Skylander look alikes?

Has anyone ever noticed some of the Skylander characters to seem like some of the original Spyro characters?
Here are some I've spotted.
Auric the bear (Skylanders)[User Posted Image] seems like Moneybags the bear [User Posted Image]
Prism Break (Skylanders) [User Posted Image] looks like an Earth Shaper [User Posted Image]
Persephone (Skylanders) [User Posted Image] looks like and somehow does close to the same thing "upgrading" Spyro's fire breath like this fairie when it kisses Spyro [User Posted Image]

Has anyone else seen some look alike characters too? smilie smilie smilie smilie smilie
