We have threads for this in the Skylanders Imaginators section. Consensus is it's a single (albeit trustworthy) source and might be misinterpreted so we should wait for more news, but it's not exactly unexpected of Acti if they do pull the plug.

So far it's only rumors. There are no sources yet that confirms Skylanders "being cancelled".
