Name: Farros Felvyn
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Gnome
Appearance: Farros is a relatively small creature, common for his kind, standing at a mere 3'3" in height and weighing 42 lbs. He is fairly slim, given to his active and fit life style. Despite being a very child-like height, his physique is more aligned to an adult, meaning his anatomy is more defined such as longer legs, toned chest, etc. His eyes are a dull and earthy brown in colour, and are by no means wide and cheery. His expression is often grim, his eyes narrowed on others. He has thick and ragged brown hair with sideburns well etched on to his face. He has a short, but thick beard on his chin, a beard which while he has no desire to grow out any further, he has even less of a desire to shave away. Unlike many other mythical creatures, he has no particularly non-human traits, given his kind is very human-like in appearance.
He dresses in often dull colour, brown being his favourite colour of choice. This is a combined reasoning of brown being a preferred colour of choice and a wonderful way to blend in to a natural environment. He wears a full body coat, a coat which he keeps buttoned at all times and held strongly in place by two thick belts. He does indeed wear a shirt underneath, but it is nothing more than a dirty, light brown t-shirt. He also wears pants of a similar light brown in colour to his undershirt which tuck into his tall, shiny boot - brown if you haven't guessed. He wears a large strap around his chest which holds several small satchels where he can store a variety of supplies, including tools, medicines, and food. He keeps a pair of goggles strapped around his head, goggles he primarily uses in crafting, absolutely refusing to remove them even if not currently being fully worn. Finally, he wears a very faded brown scarf, used to keep him warm in the cold weather he often travels in - though it also doubles as a fashionable accessory.
Occupation: Apprentice Engineer
Brief Background: When he was first born, his parents were none the wiser to his gnomish nature and he spent the early years of his childhood treated as a human, given not a second glance. At a very young age, he quickly took an interest in dissecting his toys apart. While his plan was to put them back together, his parents would often become frustrated with the young boy, thinking him to be destructive, and confiscating his toys from him on numerous occasions. As he grew older, though, his parents started realizing a drastic difference in the boy. He was not getting taller. As other kids sprang up in height, their little one stayed locked into a short stature, struggling to gain inches and slowly becoming dwarfed by other children. He was also developing oddly mature hobbies, seeking an interest in work over play. The final straw was drawn when the child started growing facial hair far too young. Much time was spent searching around before they finally got the answer. Their child was a gnome. His parents shifted the way they raised their child, applying him for crafting jobs and forgoing an education in favour of that. For many years Farros was distances from his parents, though by no means saddened by it. He spent much time crafting for others, and while many were wary to allow a child - nonetheless a mythical creature - build for them, he showed great prowess in it. At eighteen, however, he expressed an interest in challenging himself even further, denoting that small crafting jobs were entertaining, but did not make full use of his abilities. As such, he entered into a career as an apprentice to an engineer, and for the time - slightly over a year - that he was working there, he grasped the ropes quickly, and others started to see him as a threat. The young boy was learning too quickly, stepping ahead of the others, and professional engineers looked to the future, seeing he might one day derail them. Nonetheless, he worked on cheerfully.
Personality: Despite the way he adamantly glares at a good portion of people, he is deep within a very pleasant man, if not incredibly serious about work over play. He is actually an adamantly good socialist, a friendly being who will respectfully listen and respond accordingly. He is, however, very distrusting of many species, finding foe in several other beings, mythical and not. Since he dislikes fighting, he opts to hide, scuttling past those who would do him harm. He will quietly watch others while going about his business, waiting to see how they approach him first. He is a very dedicated worker, taking every job given to him completely seriously. Even as a child, he was a worker in mindset, though still a bit of a rascal deep within. In his free time, which he honestly doesn't give himself enough of, he's a bit silly in nature, enjoying a good joke of even the lowest quality and finding humour in harmless pranks. Due to his mixed personality of serious workaholic and playful trickster, he can get along well with any age, as long as they're nice to him. He is easily offended, but usually will not retaliate verbally. Upset him, however, and you may be suffering an immature prank in the future, courtesy of the fellow you upset.
Other: He is very close to nature, preferring animals - particularly burrowing ones - and plants over people. As such, he gets along well with very animal-like mythical beings of the Earth or plant-like creatures. While he avoids combat, if forced to fight, he would most prefer a hammer as a weapon of choice.

An eNeMeE approaches, dark as night, cold as space, and with a heart filled with evil. His displeasure for my joke at his expense is immeasurable.
