Title says it all, I believe it was supposed to be a mobile game. Did it get cancelled?

Good timing! Yesterday in the dev stream with Andrew Carl from VV, he mentioned that the staff does game jams, so that was the screenshot we saw so long ago. It's possible it inspired Battlecast's name, but other than that, it matches the description of the joke Gill Grunt game that's right next to that logo.

Embarassingly late reply: not a fake game. The issue with game jams is that the games end up hardly presentable, and from the screenshot, they just put some stuff together from SuperChargers' earliest assets. Taking time away from serious development to finish it is hardly ever worth it, but sometimes it happens, like Nuclear Throne from Mojang and friends' jams.
