Well, I kinda lost interest in Skylanders after TT, and even though I was intrigued by Superchargers, I didn't get to buying it. So Imaginators comes out, and I recently thought about getting back into the series. But here's the thing: Should I skip Superchargers and go straight to Imaginators, or get Superchargers and wait for the Imaginators stuff to come out and become cheaper? I mean, last I checked, the dark starter pack for SC is like, super-cheap at walmart. I still have SF and TT figures I want to get, though. I'm interested in the racing aspect of Superchargers, but SC's racing mode seems to be duplicated 1:1 in Imaginators, so yeah. Even if I go the "skip SC" route, I'll probably buy the few figures from SC I'm interested in and move on, I suppose. But I'd be missing out on the Dark DK Amiibolander and the Dark Barrel Blaster with the "skip SC" route unless I buy them second-hand. I'd appreciate any opinions on the matter.

Well, SC is thought to have the least content in the series, so it's up to you.

Buy the dark starter, if it's cheap. Those are hard to find at a decent price. Buy the SC figures that are in stores as they've dropped to half price or lower, before the majority are sold out. If you're satisfied at that point, just move to SI.

Superchargers has the best story imo, however there isn't any end game content besides racing and a few daily short quests. I'd say pick it up for cheap.

Save your money for Imaginators.

Wait untill next game, Imaginators seems bad to me.

Imaginators is pretty good. It's certainly got more content than Superchargers does and I don't many many complaints about the characters. But if you're looking for a game with a good story... Probably look elsewhere.

If it's cheao, I would say to get SuperChargers. But, gameplay-wise, I hear better things about Imaginators.

Remember Bowser and DK were released in Combo Packs.

GAME has the dark edition of Superchargers for 28.99 pounds (35 dollars), so it's up to you.. but I suggest Imaginators
