Nightfall figure error

My Nightfall figure has a hole of a 1/3 inch by 1/3 inch circle on the base(basically on the side of where the hair turns into the dark element base). Will this affect the in-game character? Will Nightfall stop working? Will her chip break?

If she still works, doubt it'll be much issue, but I'd take extra care of her to not hit the side where the chip is exposed or get it too dirty.
If you're still too wary though, you can call Activision for a replacement.

nvm, just watched skylander boy and girl vid and they have a hole in exact same spot, so its not an error.
