Hello everyone. I had the idea that since this game is focused on darkness, then the music should be dark as well.
I picked a few music selections off the internet. Here are my selections. I will let you be the judge on whether or not they would be good enough to be included in the game.

Firstly, the PS3 Sonic had a bad reception (sorry about what happened earlier, Michael.)
Secondly, SEGA would SUE Sierra if they use any of their tracks in the game. So even if the songs DO fit into the theme, then odds are they won't.

Besides, Rebecca Kneubuhl occasionally visits the Sierra Spyro forums, and upon a brief post with her a few weeks ago, she mentioned the soundtrack for The Eternal Night will have "all new music", so that means there's going to be nothing there that we've heard before. And I'm intrigued to see how she and Gabriel Mann pulled that aspect of the game off.

Rexy, firstly, that isn't the sort of language you should be using here. Secondly, it was only average, not that bad.

I know that The Eternal Night's music will be different from Sonic and I know that the PS3 Sonic wasn't as good either. I just wanted to give an example on music that sounds dark.

Sorry, I didn't know how else to describe it () At least I wasn't in really profane territory, but still, I'll take a look at the rules and edit my statement when necessary.

While dark, yes, the music for those Sonic levels are somewhat too, ''dynamic'', for the Legend of Spyro games. They may have worked well in the original series, but with the reboot, that music would be out of place.

It wasn't bad, just average(still, better than the poorer half of all Spyro games).

The PS3 Sonic is still good, it's just not the best game of them all. My favorite level in the game is Crisis City.

I don't want to offend anybody by saying it isn't the best game out there.

Although, Micheal, you are right about it being better than the lower rated games of Spyro.

TS, I'm pretty sure that PS3 Sonic got a less favorable response than A New Beginning, or odder still, Enter the Dragonfly. According to GameRankings, the former ended up with an average score of 43.2%. Next time you say that something is "lower rated", I would recommend that you back up your statement.

Well, either way, the Sonic the Hedgehog(2006) is better than ETD. Those critics were, and still are, idiots.
