Mysterious Increased Gem Count!?!? [CLOSED]

Last week, I had just hit Green Sparx with exactly 100 Gems.

And now when I went on, it says I have 211 Gems.

I have read the help files and know how gems work but this makes no sense.

And I definitely haven't misread my gem count.

Can someone please tell me what has happened.

I believe dark gives everyone every 500 days 100 gems if they were active the past week.

The reason most users on the site tend not to notice is because the topic that details that we get 100 gems every 500 days is in General, and no one goes there these days.
