I would like to know about something in the ds version of Spyro: a new beginning? Is it possible to save the game in the same area more than once. I am trying to get as many spirit gems as I can.

No, I don't think so. After you've touched the crystal, it says "Game Saved" and then the crystal just goes dark and doesn't let you tap it again.

No, on the DS once its clicked it cant be clicked again.....
