Do you pick up after yourself, chip in or just help around the house? And how often? Do you get paid or would do it for your keep?

I help hoover up, empty and dry up everything from the dishwasher, put out and take in clothes from the line, fix the beds (most of the time), scoop up the dog's poop, change the dog's pads, feed the dog and sometimes wipe the dust from tables and stand.

I'm sure it's not just internet and gaming for the rest of you, right?

Yeah, I just got here from doing the dishes, and not only do I work around the house, but in the yard too. I dust, fold the laundry, mow the lawn, etc.

I do a lot.

Mainly recycling and laundry. I'm starting to a little bit of dishwashing!

I don't do everything since I'm at uni most of the time and no one ever wants to clean at night, but I do try to help around where I can. It is a bit of a challenge to remember laundry, though, I'm so used to the noise so when it stops I don't even register it.

Not for money though, it's just part of being responsible; except vacuuming someone's car, if it's not mine then I'll need compensation for ****ing up my back trying to reach everywhere.

Indeed, I am paid $100 a month to vacuum every day and do the dishes at least twice a week.
Also to wipe down the bathroom sink when it gets dirty.
I'm only temping currently so it's my most constant source of income.

I live in my own filth. Dishes stack up in the kitchen, clothes go unwashed for weeks, the living room has a new rat family moving in.

Jk. I live with my sister bc of university. She pretty much does everything. Except clean my room. My rooms a complete mess. I am not a functional human.

I mow the lawn and do most of the caring for our dogs like feeding them, picking up their poop, etc
