The wind whistled through the dark valley filling the night air with winter coldness. Tiny snowflakes fluttered down from the grey clouds creating a thin layer of white carpet on the ground. Janis stood firmly on the cliff, her sharp talons curved round the very edge. Her grand wings were stretched out. She glared at the dull landscape below and snorted.
"Come," she said icely. A dreadwing walked to her side.
"Rade the village and I'll go for the temple," she ordered. The dreadwing snarled at the at the pack then took flight. The rest followed. Janis watched them leave before she did so too.
