HULK IS THE UNSTABLE RAGE MONSTER FORM OF BRUCE BANNER! WHY IS HE CASUALLY WALKING AROUND AS THE HULK? HULK LITERALLY DESTROYS EVERYTHING IN HIS PATH WHY ON EARTH WOULD BRUCE CASUALLY JUST BE THE HULK!?

Because casual Hulk leads to character interaction which a rampaging guy wouldn't be able to acomplish.

Then... Just do it as Bruce Banner? All of that character interaction is just going to amount to nothing but "dumb strong man" jokes.

Depends on the persona the Hulk is. You are thinking of HULK SMASH savage Hulk. There's also Mr. Fixit, the grey Hulk who actually had a job as a bouncer once and was vastly different than savage hulk. There's also the World Breaker Hulk who is quite intelligent but was too powerful and could have probably eventually destroyed the world because he was just that angry. And all the other weird Hulk persona's over the years. And yeah Amadeus Cho's Hulk too. Lots of different kinds of Hulk's.

Personally my favorite is the World Breaker Hulk and I haven't read a Hulk story better than Planet Hulk and World War Hulk since that storyline concluded.
