Man, this hit me right in the feels department.
I realize that I haven't really expounded on my Motörhead fandom, so I'll regale you the short story on why Motörhead has been an important institution in my life for the last 15 years. It all started when I was a wrestling fan of the then WWF in 2001. When Triple H came out to "The Game" starting in January 2001, I loved it immediately. But it's more than that. From 2005 to 2016, I've had 6 family members pass away, and I used Motörhead's music to really cope with all of it. It's the only thing that brought me joy at some dark points in my life. When I found out that Lemmy died, I was quite frankly crushed and shocked. During his funeral that was livestreamed on YouTube, I shed a couple of tears, as well as during this tribute. No other celebrity death had done that to me other that wrester Eddie Guerrero's death in 2005. Thank you Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Mikkey Dee, Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, "Fast" Eddie Clarke, Michael "Wurzel" Burston, Brian Robertson, Pete Gill, Lucas Fox, Larry Wallis, and any other Motörhead members I forgot. For making an indelible mark on my life for over 15 years, I thank you all, and Lemmy, Phil Taylor, and Wurzel, hope your writing more Motörhead records wherever you are.
