I start on August 1st, but I get longer breaks so it's ok.

But we do get a week-long fall break (plus four built-in snow days, that's one more than usual so hopefully we have no snow days this year!!) so it's okay. Our fall break used to be only one day... The best season deserves a break longer than one measly day! Our winter break is two weeks long and our spring break is one week as usual.

The only thing that makes me mad is that we get the Thursday before fall break off in October because of parent-teacher conferences. Ugh! Why not move it ahead ONE day and give us a 10 day long fall break like they usually do, or put it at the Monday at the end of the break?? Why give us a day off in the middle of the week?? Bleh!

It's online school, and it's the first public school I've done since about 2nd grade. I've been homeschooled for years, and this is going to be a lot more work every day then I normally have had to do, so I'm ****ing panicking, plus I'll never have time to do anything ever again.
