wat happened to Spyro?he was such a simple game!but the new games are complicated!i love The Legend of Spyro games,they are awsome,but they dont have the same essance of the original series.Spyro was so simple in the first game,but not any more.as i said before,i love the TLoS series,but they dontstand up to the original series.

i miss the original Spyro games.they had such good music and gameplay.it was so simple!now DotD is pretty much button smashing.

Well, im glad TLoS came about.....

Yeah, they give a lot of lighthearted fun. Though I played it not too long ago and I found it really easy. It's probably because I've played it so many times, but it may also be due to the fact that I played DotD and got so used to enemies that required a little more effort to kill.

i really liked the simplicity of the game.

It was awesom, but not what people expect now.

I literraly only got TEN today and the wii controls are anoying but it cool! Graphics are a tiny bit bad though

personally,the first Spyro game was the best platformer of all,i think.

Well, i suppose at the time, yes. But DotD is my fav now

DotD i thought was fun,but the original was by far,the superior.

Yeah, DotD or the legend Series didnt have much emotion in it......

true, but im in the old ones where soooooooo easy....im one hit and something dies.....but TLOS series but some -gasp- action so what butting smashing.....i have five controlers anyways

thats wat i liked!the simplicity!and Stewart Copland is a music genius!i miss the games so much....

You see, the only reason the original game was simpler and the enemies were very easy is because it's a completely different type of game to TLoS. It's pretty much entirely based upon platforming, whereas TLoS is a combat game. Sure, TLoS won't hit the standards of this game, and that should be expected since that seems to be the path for most videogame titles. You start on top and then it sorta goes.

You may have different opinions to me, and I respect that. It's actually a relief to see a topic that hasn't turned into a flame war. Let's keep it that way, baby!

for me...TLoS is easier...in original it has so much stuff to collect....

The originals are by far the best, TloS is just rubbish.

Mine is from Dawn of the Dragon in Catacombs when you fight.

For some reason I prefer the music from the Legend of Spyro trilogy over the music from the original trilogy, but that's just me. Though I must say that the original trilogy's music definitely suited the game. You couldn't just get music from TLoS and throw that in the original games and think that it would sound suitable there...

O_o I thought the LoS games were quite simple; the original games take a lot of problem solving... course, that's not hard to do when you're 14...
