So Turkey had one heck of a night: Erdogan's plane wansn't allowed to land and he has been hosted by iran after said no from germany.
The military tried to take over. there was a lot of enthuasiasm (Me grammar nazi) in the streets. then people who support erdogan just came to the steets and was starting to get ran over by tanks, shot by the guns, tanks and helicopters of the military! but it all failed, the turish general was executed for traiting and all of the rest of the military got minor punishes (NOT spanking) some got fired. erdo's back. The (living) citizens that supported Erdogan got awarded (money and stuff).

This isn't anything new for Turkey. The military has overthrown the government several times in the past in order to keep Turkey secular. Shame they failed this time.
