I saw an early release and I have to tell you, I know a lot of people are going to hate me saying this but it's way way better than the original. It's so much more funny and even actually has some intense scares, unlike the original. Definitely better.

I'll probably see it eventually, if only because I want to know if it's actually good or bad and so many people are claiming that critics are being bought off or trying to give it a pass because women, while at the same time those people are inherently biased because they love the original and actively want to hate it, so made up their mind long ago.

I'll even see it before I see the original just so I can avoid having a biased opinion.

I've seen snippets but I never really cared to sit down and watch the whole thing. I probably would've this Halloween anyway but now the new film has higher priority.

I'm in the same boat as CAV. I've seen a bit of the original but haven't actually sat down to watch it all. I definitely want to see the new one before I see the original, but I'm not going to see it in theaters, especially when there's other things out now and soon that I'd rather see (The Secret Life of Pets, Finding Dory, Lights Out...).

It looks mediocre but that's Hollywood for you. However, having an all-female cast isn't what makes it cynical. I doubt the fans who are pissed off about the film would be any happier if it has the Happy Madison crew of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Rob Schneider and Shaq.

Seriously, these fans must secretly hate Ghostbusters because they're all acting like Walter Peck.

I never really liked Ghostbusters to begin with so the only reason i'm really interested in seeing it is because of curiosity(and to balance out my tastes because I want to be able to see mixed or bad movies as well as good ones). Too bad I won't be able to have a legit opinion on it without being called misogynist or an SJW.

It sucks because most people just thought this looked like an awful movie and left it at that. No matter how this movie turned out, it had an awful marketing campaign and that can't be argued at all. But nope, extremists who hate it and extremists who love it are getting all the attention. And in both cases the only reason it's so extreme is simply because the Ghostbusters are women.
