Error with not being able to "sign in" on Game Center (on iPhone)

Been playing for a while, but can in no way play versus or scan in any cards as every time I try it asks me to sign in, then when I click it just closes the warning.

I am signed in, and have signed out and signed back in and still the same thing over and over.

So... should I just give up on the physical cards, or is there a fix for this?

Its a problem that has happened to many of us. Somehow the act of going into the game center and then turning off the device and going back in seems to fix it. Not sure what the magic order is or if you are not logging in to the game center correctly, but I do have faith you can figure it out with trial and error. The two times it has happened to me I somehow fixed it by doing what I said.
