Any GameCube game recommendations?

Anyone got any recommendations for some good NGC games?
I'm not necessarily going to buy any anytime soon, since they can be a bit pricey, but I want to expand my pathetic NGC library.

At the moment I only have Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time w/ Master Quest, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
(I also have the Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii, so there isn't much point to getting them on the NGC as well)
I'm considering getting Luigi's Mansion, Pokémon Colosseum, and Wario World, among others.

Also, bear in mind that I am able to emulate GameCube games on my Wii, so I can try them out before I purchase them. :)

List of games to try so far:
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Fire Emblem: Path to Radiance
F-Zero GX
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Pikmin, Pikmin 2
Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
Soul Calibur II
Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Assault
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Tales of Symphonia
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Ty The Tasmanian Tiger
Wario World

Melee.......

No. If you just want a complete library sure, but there's already a Super Smash Bros. 4, so no.

>she thinks tr4sh is a better game than Melee

this is a topic about gamecube games, not updated sequels to gamecube games. in that case, don't get mario kart double dash, any star fox, zelda, or any other game that survived past 2006. I still highly suggest Melee, it's a great party game, and an even better competitive fighter. it's survived 15 years and outlived it's sequel for a reason

Probably Tales of Symphonia since the GC version is the only one that runs at 60fps and has a manual.

HOW COULD I FORGET TO MENTION THIS? Sess, this is probably the best RPG on the GameCube. Steve is smart, listen to Steve's suggestion

Also, you should look into getting Four Swords Adventures. It also needs a GBA and cable but if you can get three other people to play it with you, it's a lot of fun

Here's a couple games typically regarded as Gamecube classics.

-Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is considered the best Paper Mario game, and for most of the fanbase, the last good one. It's an RPG game that expands completely on both the original Paper Mario game and the series in general. It's probably one of Nintendo's best stories, let alone the best Mario story.

-Pikmin 1/2 are really great RTS's that aren't really talked about too much. The game is based around commanding your army of tiny aliens called Pikmin to help you either find every part of your broken ship on an alien world (Pikmin) or to find as much treasure and money as possible to save the company you work for (Pikmin 2). Pikmin is up there with Yoshi's Wooly World and Animal Crossing as some of the most relaxing games I've personally played, but they can also be some of the most stressful games. These games are also on Wii, so if you can't find them for a good price on Gamecube it's best to buy it on that.

-Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is also personally my favorite Mario Kart game. Most hate for the game comes from the two characters per kart concept, but even that has had a Wind Waker effect where people have accepted it more as time goes on. It has more varied and fun tracks than any game in the series before it, introduced a ton of new characters, has the best selection of items in the series, and some really great kart designs. The battle mode is also great fun if you can find some friends to play with you. I absolutely recommend it.

-Super Smash Bros Melee is and always will be regarded as one of Nintendo's greatest games. There's an absolute ton of things to do and the community is more alive than ever before, even 15 years later. It's still one of the best party games as well as one of the best competitive fighters. It may not have the best roster and the sequels are expanded in different ways, sometimes for the better, but it's regardless a must buy.

Here are some games I haven't personally played but think might be pretty good, so I'll just put them in a list to let you decide.

-Ribbit King (This game is pretty obscure, but this might help make the decision.)
-Mario Power Tennis
-Mario Party 5
-Soul Calibur II
-Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (Keep in my mind that you need 1 GBA per person, aka 4 GBA's + cables.)
-Star Fox: Assault (Honestly just for Multiplayer. I've heard it's slightly better than Stair Fax Temperatures otherwise.)
-F-Zero GX
-Wave Race: Blue Storm
-Super Monkey Ball 2
-Alien Hominid
-TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
-TimeSplitters 2
-Viewtiful Joe
-Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat (You also have to buy a Bongo peripheral for about $40. Play this one, the first one is just a mediocre rhythm game.)
-REsident Evil
-Pokemon Colosseum
-Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
-Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
-Kirby Air Ride

And with that, I'm off !

I had friends in secondary school who absolutely love this game (especially Kratos Aurion) and a learning worker for mine in college, who hardly plays video games, loves Symphonia (and the Batman Arkham games).

My only problem is the lack of manual for the PS3 version 'cus there's no real tutorial when first thrown in combat.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader - Don't think this has come up yet. Was a launch title with gorgeous graphics for its time (it held up to the best of the Wii era as well) and the gameplay is probably the best of the Rogue Squadron series.

For more mature fare, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and Killer 7 are 2 great titles that were never remastered beyond the Gamecube generation (unlike say, the Resident Evils which have been re-released multiple times). Doubt Eternal Darkness will ever get released again seeing as Silicon Knights went under. Also worth checking out is the Silicon Knights' Metal Gear Solid remake, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.

I don't think A Hero's Tail has been mentioned yet. I've only played the ps2 version but absolutely adore it. It knows what it is, unlike Enter the Dragonfly, and the silly sense of humor gets me every time. Of course, this is a Spyro forum so I'm guessing you've played AHT before, just throwing it out there on the off chance that you haven't.
