For those who don't have Thrillipede, SCL Matt has uncovered some incredible news that could possibly mean we'll be seeing more of him at other stores tomorrow, the 29th of June. The article is below: http://skylanderscharacterlist...s-june-27-2016/

I don't want to get your hopes up too much, but this could mean that I could finally be finishing my entire SuperChargers collection, which would be nice.

I already have him, i got him at toysrus for normal price But not to destroy hope for some of those who are still looking to get him... I think people wouldn't really be looking for him in stores because the skylander shelves haven't changed in months in any of the stores around here.
I think it's a bit too late for him to be released in store and for him to sell well.

I called Gamestop, and they knew exactly what one I was talking about. They said they were expecting him and should be getting him in sometime today or this week. The hype is on.

let's hope so. I've been hunting for him at my gamestop and no such luck.

IIRC he's not in their system at all.

(but if this does happen it would rock because all skylanders are 5 bucks this week)

Nope. No luck. Stopped by Gamestop and they didn't have a clue what I wanted. Guess it's to Ebay I go!

Given what we've seen in previous years I would be shocked if this figure showed up in mass qtys at retail stores.

my Gamestop hasn't gotten much since wave 2....last Skylanders Day I planned to get all 3 racing packs but they only had the sea pack, and I don't recall ever seeing either land or sky. If Activision pulls this kind of crap again with Imaginators, Sky 7 may end up DOA

I think Toys For Bob need to re-think how they do the waves.
What happened with Thrillipede and the Yawn Traps can't happen with imaginators.

They're not the ones in charge of that, Acti or whoever they outsourced that to are. They just work with the illustration company to design the stuff being sold.

The only way to make this right (Otherwise they will loose customers - Myself included), is to have him available when the new game comes out. I agree that stores are not wanting any more SC (even if it is a new character), they are trying to clear their shelves. But if they do what they did back with LC Hex, this will help selling the new game. Otherwise they will have a hard time getting customers buying something that is not a given (All character release). Especially since there are 40+ for the new game. I'm not saying that I will not buy the new game, I will just wait this time next year to get the stuff dirt cheap. If they cant commit to releasing all characters, why pay top dollar for something you know you not going to get the full game. Yeah I will miss out on some hard to find characters, but I will be satisfied in that Activision will not get all my money, especially since I will not be paying full price.

Background: My son and I have been collecting since the beginning of SSA. We even had a Skylander Birthday party (Made a KAOS piñata from scratch - you can see it here: //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=108057 and //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=110342 and //forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=103702 ) This last game (SC) was the worst, mainly since we both don't care for racing games, but we still collected all the characters. We still don't have the Yawn traps (fool me once), and now you keep thilli away (Fool me twice), did I mention my son stopped playing this game (but as a collectors we still collect).

Some of us collectors are trying to get every character, both variants and regular editions.

because some of us only want the regular versions of everything...even if I WAS willing to settle for a variant, Eggcited Thrillipede looks like shtako ( I also haven't seen even that version of him in a store...but I live in a small town in NH with few options for TTL figures ).

Side note: just ordered the sky & land packs from Gamestop's website as my Wal-Mart didn't have any left....in fact, they had so little for Skylanders the shelf space was practically empty Hoping to order a not outrageously overpriced Thrillipede & Buzzwing when I get paid next month. ( fun further note: also got a brand new 3DS Portal Owner's pack for Giants for only $0.97 in my Gamestop order )

Because some of us would like to go to sleep at night without a demonic white rabbit staring at us.

At this point, shipping Thrillipede along with Imaginators might be their best course of action. People might go into stores to get him and pick up Imaginators when they get him, particularly as part of a TRU B1G40 off sale on release day. That feeling of finishing a collection makes people much more likely to invest in a new round if it is fresh on their minds. All that frustration over LC Hex being pushed out to Swap Force just melted away on the first day of Swap Force, few remember how annoying it was at the time.

Stores will be way more willing to get in stock when excitement is much higher than now. They just need to not overdo it on stock of him like they did Hex.

I'm with you Dinoah. I can rationalize the yawn traps as they were not main characters in the line up (still would have liked the chance at getting them). Thrillipede however is a MAIN character - a NEW main character at that. Why would I jump at the chance of investing in something I can not complete.

Exactly. He's a main character to the lineup. Halloween Feista and Eye Brawl, Christmas Dive Clops and Lobstar, plus whoever else I won't collect. I'm not into holiday variants although I wouldn't mind having that employee only holiday Stormblade. Plus honestly he's really ugly dressed up as a rabbit.

I'm the same way. I'm trying to collect EVERYTHING.

I get what you're saying. i just try to get one of each character. i dont care what it looks like.

Well i put a order in for amazon uk..which is backordered. Hopefully it comes.
