Chapter 1: The birth of Saphira

Fireheart flew through the night sky. He soared over the Sliver Mountains. Fireheart knew he was late, Ruby would be waiting for him.
Finally, Fireheart reached his cave. Ruby looked up at Fireheart. "You're late," said Ruby. "Yes, yes. I know, I'm sorry. It's just that I got a bit held up..." But Fireheart was interupted by a loud cracking sound...
"You've laid the egg already!" cried Fireheart. "Shhh! You'll scare the baby, look." said Ruby. The egg was a deep sapphire blue, and the baby dragon that was climbing out was a sapphire blue too!
Suddenly, the egg cracked open, and a baby dragon climbed out!
"It's a girl!" smiled Ruby. "Aww...I wanted it to be a boy." muttered Fireheart.
The baby dragon blinked at her parents. She had turquoise eyes, horns, wings, and claws. The rest of her was blue. "What should we name her?" asked Fireheart. "What about...Saphira?" "Saphira?" slupttered Fireheart. "Yes, Saphira." smiled Ruby.
Saphira smiled at her name. "Mama Dada." gurgled Saphira.

Chapter 2: The Legend Of The Blue Dragon

A FEW YEARS LATER...

A green and brown dragon entered the castle. He was shivering all over, "Come'on, I can do this. All I have to do is just tell Mogorath that the new blue dragon is alive..." muttered Deirek. "ENTER" roared a deep, dark voice. Deirek slowly walked in. "Hurry up!" growled the voice. Deirek jumped, and quickly rushed in.
A black and dark purple dragon sat ontop of a green throne stared at Deirek. "So, Deirek. Is the blue dragon still alive?" said the black dragon.
"Umm...well, you see..." "GET ON WITH IT!" roared the black dragon. Deirek jumped. "The blue dragon lives," squeaked Deirek. "WHAT!!!" roared the black dragon. "I'm so sorry that I failed Dazra! I will never, ever, ever do it again! I promise!" cried Deirek. "YOU WERE SUPOSSED TO KILL THE EGG BEFORE IT HATCHED!" roared Dazra. "I'm so, so, so, so sorry Master!" sobbed Deirek. "I should of killed it, but I just couldn't. I'm so sorry Master!" "Do you know what the blue dragon can do to me?!" growled Dazra. "No." squeaked Deirek. "THE BLUE DRAGON CAN KILL ME! The blue dragon is the most powerful dragon that ever lived!! If it knows that I'm out here, it will surely kill me, and my army along with it!" roared Dazra. "I'm so sorry Master! Please, I beg your forgivness." sobbed Deirek. Dazra smiled, a evil twisted smile.

Then, Dazra said. "No." and killed poor, poor, Deirek.

Far away, Saphira woke up with a shock.

Chapter 3: The Dream
Saphira was panting, she had the most terrifying dream.
"Saphira honey? Are you OK?" came Ruby's soft voice. "Ah!" cried Saphira. "Calm down sweetheart, it's OK. It's just me." said Ruby calmly. "Oh, sorry Mum. I had the most freakiest dream," said Saphira, calming down a bit. Saphira told Ruby all about her dream. (while Fireheart was snoring away) Ruby was shocked. "What is it Mum? Is it bad?" asked Saphira nervously.
"No, it's OK honey. Everything will be alright." said Ruby, hugging Saphira.
But Saphira still had a very bad feeling...

Far, far away, Dazra was preparing his army for the attack that Saphira will never forget...

Chapter 4: Blue Fire
A few weeks past and Saphira soon forgot all about her nightmare. But Ruby didn't.
Today, Fireheart was going to teach Saphira how to breathe fire, and fly.
Saphira was very excited. "Come 'on Dad! Get up!" cried Saphira, tapping her nose on his belly. "Mother? Is that you?" mumbled Fireheart. "No Dad, it's me! Come 'on!" cried Saphira. "Alright, alright, I'm up." yawned Fireheart. Ruby flew off to hunt.
"So, Dad! How do you breathe fire?" asked Saphira, once they got out of the cave.
"Hold on, Saphira. Ok, the first thing you do is take deep, deep breaths. Think of the fire, burning inside you. Then, unleash it," explained Fireheart. "Watch me." said Fireheart. Fireheart took a deep breath, and blew out flames. "Wow!" said Saphira with amazment. "Now, don't worry if you don't get it at first..." But Saphira was already breathing out fire! Blue fire! "Look Dad, look! I can breathe out blue flames!" beamed Saphira. "Blue flames...But that's impossible!" cried Fireheart. "Impossible? Then howcome I'm doing it Dad?" asked Saphira. Saphira stopped.
Fireheart looked at Saphira. "I'm sorry Saphira. But you're mother an I should have told you," said Fireheart. "Tell me what?" asked Saphira. "...that the proheys spoke of a Blue Dragon. A dragon only born once, every 40 generation...you," said Fireheart. "M-m-me?" spluttered Saphira. "Yes, you sweetheart. The Blue Dragon is master of all Five Elements; Fire, Ice, Electricty, Earth and Wind." explained Fireheart. "But why didn't you tell me this sooner?" asked Saphira.
"We just thought that you were'nt ready yet, sorry dear...But anyway, why don't we focus on flying now? Eh?" smiled Fireheart.
"Umm...Ok Dad." mumbled Saphira.

Saphira couldn't believe her ears. Master of all Five Elements? Was Fireheart telling the turth? Or, was he just having a joke.
Saphira would just have to find out herself. "Ok, Saphira. Take a deep breath, and emtey your mind...Yes! Yes! That's it! Now, feel the power of your ansetors charging through your body, in times of danger the will come, teach you powers you never new you had..." Saphira was flapping her wings, and slowly lifting off the ground. "...you can fly!" cried Fireheart. Saphira opened her eyes, she was flying!
"Wow! I'm actually flying!" cried Saphira. Saphira flapped her wings harder, and she soared high up in the sky. Fireheart flew up next to her.
"Thanks Dad!" smiled Saphira. "No problem sweetie." smiled Fireheart, as they flew higher.
Suddenly, Ruby flew over with a small horse in her claws. "Looks like you can fly now honey! Well done!" smiled Ruby. "Thanks Mum!" beamed Saphira, as she did a loop in mid-air. Ruby quickly flew back to the cave, she put the carcase away, and flew after her family. Fireheart, Ruby and Saphira all flew together...As one.

Chapter 5: Dazra's Fury
Saphira was ten years old, and growning fast. Dazra was still preparing for the attack. (He's quite fussy when it gets to armour) And Ruby had laid another egg. This time, it was a bright ruby red, it had light yellow spots, and fire marks all around it.
"This time, it HAS to be a boy," said Fireheart, looking over the egg. Saphira was very happy, she always wanted a little sister...Or brother. But mostly, she wanted a little sister. Saphira had learned all her elements, and knew how to fight. (Saphira was a quick learner) Ruby nuzzled the egg with her snout. "I can't wait until it hatchs!" smiled Saphira. "Neither can we," smiled Ruby. But they were interupted by the sound of loud wing beats, and Trolls and Goblins running across the floor.
Suddenly, Dazra flew up to their cave.
"Hello Mum, Dad. And ooo! Look, it's my little sister Saphira! And what's this? You laid another egg Mother," growled Dazra. "Mum Dad, what does he mean? He can't be my brother!" cried Saphira. Fireheart held Saphira close, Ruby clinged onto the egg. "It's true," said Fireheart. "he's our son."
Dazra laughed an evil laugh. "Yup, it's all true little sister! I was the first born, but as soon as your stupid little egg was laid Saphira! I left...Mum and Dad were so excited that your egg was the Blue Dragon! So, I flew far, far, far away from here. I started a new life, all by my own. I made an army, that will destroy you all! Episeally you Saphira, episeally YOU!" roared Dazra.
"We are so sorry son, but please! Don't hurt Saphira or the egg!" cried Ruby. "Nice try Mum, but it's to late now! ATTACK!!" yelled Dazra. Thousands of Trolls, Orgres and Goblins charged up the cave. "Run Saphira!" yelled Fireheart. "What?" slupttered Saphira. "Just get out of here honey! Here, take the egg," said Ruby handing Saphira the egg. "But what about you? There's no way I'm leaving you!" cried Saphira. "Just GO!!" yelled Fireheart. Tears filled Saphira's, Fireheart's and Ruby's eyes. "We love you." said Ruby. "I love you too," sobbed Saphira.

Saphira quickly raced outside, and flew off with the egg. Luckily, Dazra or his army didn't notice. Saphira looked back, Fireheart and Ruby were flaming and fighting with all their might. Dazra just laughed away. It echoed in Saphira's mind. Saphira quickly flapped her wings, and soared away...

Chapter 6: Bolt
Saphira was tried. She had been flying for hours. Saphira looked around, she saw a little hollow tree that she could fit in.
Saphira quickly glided down into the tree. But someone pushed her out. "Ah!" cried Saphira, as she was flung away. The egg went flying over Saphira's head. "No!" yelled Saphira. Saphira jumped up, and just caught the egg before it hit the ground. "What are you doing here?" snapped a voice. Saphira turned around.
There was a black and yellow dragon, sitting by the tree. He had yellow eyes, horns, wings, belly, claws and one of his fangs was yellow he also had a yellow lightening mark all the way up to his nose, and down to his tail. The rest of him was black. "I said, what are you doing...Wait, you're the Blue Dragon!" cried the dragon. "Umm...Yes, yes I am," said Saphira. "I thought they were all dead! But I guess I was wrong!" cried the dragon.
"Yeah, I'm the last of my kind," explained Saphira. "My name's Bolt. What's your's?" asked the dragon. "Oh...I'm Saphira." smiled Saphira. "What's the egg ya got there?" asked Bolt. Saphira had forgotten all about the egg!
"Oh, that? Well it's quite a long story..." Saphira told Bolt everything.
"Dazra attacked your family and you! No wonder!" said Bolt. "Umm...Is it alright if I stay-" "Sure! Make yourself comfortable! Here, I'll take the egg." said Bolt. Saphira handed Bolt the egg, then climbed inside.
"Here, you must be hungry," said Bolt, handing Saphira some chicken.
"Thanks." smiled Saphira. "No problem," said Bolt. (with his mouthful)
After they had eaten, they both dozed off to sleep...

Chapter 7: Onyx
Five weeks past since Saphira had last saw her parents. She was missing them, but she had Bolt with her. The egg had heaps of crack marks around it, but it still didn't crack.
One moring, Saphira woke up with a start; she saw that the egg was cracking! "Bolt! Bolt! Wake up!! The egg is cracking!!!" yelled Saphira. "Huh? Wha?" mumbled Bolt, waking up. Suddenly, the egg spilt in two! And a baby dragon stumbled out. "It's a girl! Yes! I've got a little sister!" beamed Saphira. "Oh goodie," sighed Bolt. "What ya going to name her?" asked Bolt.
Saphira thought hard. Her little sister had red eye's, and body. She had orange and yellow horns, wings, and spines. "What about...Onyx?" suggested Saphira. "Onyx? Never heard of such a name, but oh well. She's your sister." said Bolt. "Sa-p-h-ira." gurgled Onyx.
"Onyx said my name! She said my name!" cried Saphira. Bolt just smiled.

Chapter 8: Captured
Dazra laughed an evil laugh. He had captured Fireheart and Ruby! "MUHHAAAHHAAA!" laughed Dazra. "I've always dreamt of this day, that I would capture my snotty parents, kill Saphira and destroy the WORLD!!!" "You'll never get away with this son!" growled Fireheart. "Oh really Dad? Don't you see your hanging over a buring VOLCANO!" raored Dazra. "Umm...Yeah, we would of realized that by now!" snapped Ruby.
"...anyway, when I drop this Mokia Rock into the volcano, the volcano will blow and the world will be a restult of fire and ash! THERE WILL BE NOW EXSCAPE!!" roared Dazra. "AND YOU TWO, WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO BE DESTROYED! and Saphira...MUHHHAHHAHHAHHHAHA!!!
"Saphira will HAVE to come, to save her stupid parents from metting their doom!" "No! We don't believe that!" raored Fireheart. "Yeah! Saphira will come, and you'll be sorry! She could KILL you!" growled Ruby.
"I know she can, but I've been working out lately, so Saphira better be ready!" growled Dazra.

Chapter 9: Shadow
After a few weeks, Saphira dieced that she would fly back to her home. Onyx was still to little to fly yet, so Saphira would have to carry her.
"Are you sure you want to go?" asked Bolt. "Yes Bolt, I'm sure. The're my parents. And my parents would love to see Onyx for the first time." said Saphira. "OK, but I'm coming with you," said Bolt.
Onyx was racing around on the grass, pouncing on grasshoppers. "Come' on Onyx, it's time to go." called Saphira. Onyx looked up, and raced towards Saphira. "We go now?" asked Onyx. "Yes, we're going now." said Bolt. Onyx climbed onto Saphira's back, "You ready?" asked Saphira. "Yes 'aphira." purred Onyx.
Just as they were about to take off, a black dragon jumped up and leapt towards Saphira. Saphira quickly dodged, and the dragon leapt onto Bolt instead. "Bolt!" yelled Saphira. The black dragon sank it's fangs into Bolt's back. Bolt yowled in pain, and pushed the dragon off with his hind legs.
Saphira tried to help, but Bolt said: "You need to keep Onyx out of danger! Now go up that tree!" Saphira quickly climbed up the tree, and tried to keep Onyx away as far as possible.
Bolt leapt onto the dragon's back, and sank his fangs into the dragon's back. The dragon yowled in pain, and clawed at Bolt's right leg. Bolt yowled and kicked the dragon away. Suddenly, black fire shot out of the dragon's mouth.
Bolt quickly dogded the attack. 'That must be Shadowfire!' thought Bolt.
Bolt then used his electric breath attack. But the black dragon dodged it.
Bolt then flew down towards the dragon and used his Thunderfang attack. One of his fangs grew and turned yellow. He sank his yellow fang into the dragon's back. An eletric current zapped through the dragon's body.
The dragon yowled in pain. Bolt then jumped off the dragon.
The dragon limped back on his four legs. "Why aren't you fighting me?" he hissed. "What is your name? And why are you attacking us?" spat Bolt.
"My father told me too," said the dragon. "...my name is Shadow. Son of Dazra."
"Dazra!" cried Bolt and Saphira. Saphira glided down with Onyx in her arms. "Dazra is my brother!" yelled Saphira. "Yes, and that is why he sent me to kill you Aunty Saphira," growled Shadow. "Yay! Me Aunty!" cried Onyx happily. "Sorry Shadow, but I'm afraid you can't do that," hissed Bolt. "Tobad! 'Cause I already did!" roared Shadow as he leapt towards Saphira. Onyx started to sniff, then she sneezed, and blew out flames onto Shadow!
Shadow went flying. "ARGH!!!" Shadow yelled as he tried to put the fire out which was on him. "Here's our chance!" cried Bolt. Saphira and Bolt quickly flew away. "I'll get you Saphira!" roared Shadow. "Thank you Onyx," smiled Saphira as she kissed her little sister.
