What´s your opinion and how would you fix the problem?

The prices in my country? It's enough to give me a heart attack.
The prices in US? Lower a little and it's perfect for me.

Too high. The worst offenders are certainly adventure packs.
My solution is usually waiting it out for the prices to drop, but I don't think I'll be doing that this year |

I just picked up a Wallop for 1 Euro after two years of search and ridiculously high prices online... let that sink in for a while, I couldn't hold myself and now I'm probably the most insane person in town.

Okay up until Trap Team, although for SuperChargers, there was a really weird split.
Think of the prices as roughly equivalent of 10=$1. (Currency-wise, 10 is more than $1, but functionally, it's a fair comparison, due to taxes and such. Importing generally either costs just as much or more, due to shipping and import taxes.) TRU, and some of the few other stores who still stock Skylanders, increased the SuperCharger prices above that of the Trap Masters, with an insane Vehicle price. From 150 to 170, and Vehicles at 230. However, the store I've frequented kept figures at the same price as Trap Masters (150) for both characters and vehicles, and have a sticker card with an 'every 5th figure free' deal. Comparison TRU and others: 230+170=400 for vehicle+character. No bulk discounts. 5 pairs = 2000 The great store: 150+150=300 for vehicle+character. Every 5th figure free. 5 pairs = 1200 So, there's a HUGE value gap on display: Highly unreasonable vs respectably decent. Unfortunately, all stores have been limited in new stock since we entered 2016, with the expensive stores having very little of Wave 4, the awesome store having none, and no one having anything of Wave 5, so I've had to import for a a bit of a price increase :/ Hopefully, the end of DI will clear up shelf space for the new Imaginators figures...

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal. Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement. I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future. |

Prices started being ridiculous in Canada halfway through Trap Team cycle. Here's one of the worst example:
Trap Team Elites: US $25 / Canada 30$ Superchargers Elites: US $22 / Canada 35$ (???) Just, why? It does not even match the exchange rate...

the prices have been insane high for superchargers at least.. and it sure haven't helped the game popularity. now the prices are starting to fall it is getting there. i just hope with the new skylanders game they are not gonna raise the prices even higher.

Too much, in my opinion. Over here in UK the prices slowly went up over the years. A core Skylander used to cost £8.99, lightcore £11.99, and gimmicks £15.99. When Trap team came around, the cores then cost £9.99. Sure, not a huge difference, but it was enough to make me unhappy. Since SuperChargers with no cheaper cores to buy, it's been a struggle for me to get my hands on them. The characters being £12.99 and vehicles being £15.99 is what disappointed me the most. Honestly I'd rather pay £8-£10 on every figure.

I don't understand if you mean MSRP or what they are at now. New figures or used.
MSRP is not really too far off from what other figures of the same size and quality goes for at the store. Most without a chip is about $10, so I expect to pay a little extra for a chip to play with a game. The SuperCharger figures themselves went pretty much to discount fairly quickly. Buy one get two free sales isn't uncommon, which makes them a bargain at under $5 each. And you can get loads of older figures for under $3 new or used, which is pretty good all in all. Skylanders isn't really a good investment if you buy new and expect them to hold any value, but it's a fun hobby if you just want to collect and enjoy what you play. Sadly I'm at the point where I just have too many where I will buy only the ones I like a full price new and whatever I feel like used. I wouldn't buy everyone brand new at full price.
