I don't know if this is actually what they are called, but they're basically challenges where you go through the entire game with only one Skylander, and you must use that Skylander for the entire game.
My question is... Do you often do these kind of challenges in any given Skylanders game more than once? I went through Spyro's Adventure with Wham Shell, and am considering going through it with another guy. While it may seem like a waste of time, it's also a chance of seeing all the pluses and minuses of each given Skylander. For example, with that one and only challenge, I realized...
+ Wham-Shell has very good range AND melee.
+ Poseidon Strike can be comboed into regular mace attacks, and vice versa.
- He's a little slow: requires Speed Buffs to dodge certain traps (like those platforms with the claws)
- Also somewhat big. Hard to dodge attacks.
...Anyone else do that?

I tried to beat Giants on nightmare difficulty using only Spyro. I gave up on the second to last chapter though.

Yeah, I was trying to do the same thing with Bash, but I couldn't get past Molekin Mountain. Speaking of which, from playing as him...
+ He hits like a truck. + His roll attack can combo into his tail attack. + Thanks to his roll attack, he's got some pretty good speed and mobility. - Slow frame data. Can't keep attacking with his melee weapon as quickly as other characters. - Poor range. His projectile requires set-up. - He's quite large. |

I did this twice with SuperChargers. Once with Bone Bash Roller Brawl + Tomb Buggy, and once with Double Dare Trigger Happy + Gold Rusher, both times on Hard mode.

Did a One And Only challenge on SA with . ...I beat it rather easily. Now I'm doing one with Spyro.
Zap pros and cons: + He's pretty fast. + His slime trail can slow enemies down, which comes wicked handy against Chop Chop, Ghost Roaster and + While his attacks don't do much on their own, they combine easily. + Quick frame data on attacks. + Really good range. - Uhhhh... poor Melee, I guess? - Crowd control, while good, requires set-up. - Not very good in corners? ...Coming up with cons for him is tough. |
